One of the fabled \u201cBig Five\u201d PLEs is at our doorstep. In a few short days, Money in the Bank will come to us live from the Inuit Dome, and the excitement is at a fever pitch. With two titular ladder matches, a championship match, and a mega-tag match, it should be one of the better nights for WWE.<\/p>\n
They have been consistent, but nothing has wowed us recently, and this could be the best night for WWE to pull one out of their hat. They have set themselves up for success with a stacked card that should drive up interest in the brand. WWE has given us plenty of reasons to watch this Saturday, and here they are.<\/p>\n
Gimmick matches are the bread and butter of WWE. They are the easiest way to excite the audience about a match, and the two ladder matches going into Sunday are the prime examples.<\/p>\n
Even without knowing the participants in the contest, we are always excited to see a multi-man ladder match. It\u2019s a match that breeds chaos, and it\u2019s almost guaranteed that a few big spots will show up along the way.<\/p>\n
With the participants involved, we are given some Money in the Bank veterans, while others are showing up in the match for the first time. It will give us plenty of interesting matchups and should be one of the highlights of the year.<\/p>\n
The dynamic surrounding the four men in this match makes it one of the more intriguing on the card. At this point, every time John Cena steps into a WWE ring, it\u2019s a must-see moment. The GOAT’s dates are only dwindling, and we have less time to appreciate John Cena.<\/p>\n
Outside of John Cena, the match-up of the remaining three men is ripe with intrigue. Cody Rhodes is on his way back to the main event, Logan Paul is the sensation that everybody loves to hate, and Jey Uso is a World Champion looking to establish himself. There are so many stories going into this mega-tag match that anyone would be a fool not to tune into Money in the Bank.<\/p>\n
As a prediction, this match is going to surprise many with how good it will be. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso are legitimate workhorses, and John Cena and Logan Paul are great in their heel roles. There will be great wrestling and no doubt a great finish for these four men.<\/p>\n
Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch have been firing on all cylinders since Lynch\u2019s heel turn on her former prot\u00e9g\u00e9. Their program has produced a bunch of compelling back-and-forth promos with both women getting in some great jabs. Lynch has always been good on the stick, but Valkyria has shown a tremendous maturation.<\/p>\n
Their first match was a fantastic one. Over 20 minutes, they told a fantastic story of the underdog who refuses to relent to her heel mentor. It was a fun contest and one that gave us a rather surprising ending.<\/p>\n
Heading into Saturday, there should be no doubt what these women are capable of. Their first match was great, and they will have no problem amping things up to make their sequel better than the original.<\/p>\n
Money in the Bank matches are always a good time, but there are instances where the winner is, more or less, a sure thing. We all know of these matches where sure it\u2019s a fun watch, but it’s sullied by the man\/or woman winning who we all figured would. There shouldn\u2019t be any of that trepidation from the audience at Money in the Bank.<\/p>\n
The field is wide open for both Money in the Bank matches. In each match, there is a legitimate argument to be made for all the participants winning.<\/p>\n
There are so many different directions that WWE can go in, and they have been keeping a pretty tight lid on things. It will be a fabulous time seeing who will make their way to the top of the ladder and achieve their destiny.<\/p>\n
This is always going to make it on the list, as WWE had a knack for pulling out some big surprises for their shows. With Money in the Bank, there is the potential for a few shocks to come out way on Saturday.<\/p>\n
For starters, the open field of both Money in the Bank matches could provide for a huge shock. There are favourites, yes, but they are as clear-cut as one might think. We could see a huge surprise when an underdog takes possession of the briefcase.<\/p>\n
There is also the inevitable potential of a big return at Money in the Bank. Seth Rollins’ heel faction is running roughshod over Raw, and while Sami Zayn and CM Punk are doing admirably, they will need another running mate.<\/p>\n
That is where a Roman Reigns return will be inserted perfectly. It will be a great return and should warrant a huge pop from the audience.<\/p>\n
