YOH and Kosei Fujita were the respective winners of their blocks, and they will face off to crown a new holder. With YOH and Fujita both never having won the tournament before, this final will definitely provide a new Best of the Super Juniors title holder.

YOH is one half of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champions, along with Master Wato, and he looks to claim his first singles gold. Fujita, having only entered the NJPW dojo in 2021, has become known in the tag team division and looks to break out in singles competition. Will YOH’s experience prevail, or will Fujita break out in a major way in the junior heavyweight division?

Tag Team Mayhem in Semi-Main Event

On June 15, Hirooki Goto defends his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Shingo Takagi at Dominion 6.15. This will serve as a preview of that as Goto teams up with Ryusuke Taguchi, and Takagi teams up with Hiromu Takahashi for a tag team semi-main event.

This tag team match provides a blend of different personalities, and this could make for an intriguing semi-main event. With only two weeks to go until Dominion 6.15 in Osaka, this tag team match could determine who has the advantage.

Hiroshi Tanahashi in Six-Man Tag Team Match

‘President Ace’ Hiroshi Tanahashi continues his retirement tour, as he partakes in six-man tag team action. Tanahashi teams up with Ninja Mack and Dragon Dia. Together, they go up against Yuya Uemura, El Desperado & TAKA Michinoku, who reunite in a Suzuki-Gun reunion.

This also leads to Dominion 6.15, where Tanahashi will face Uemura in singles action. Whilst the primary focus will be on Tanahashi and Uemura, the other four participants in the match could showcase themselves and their actions.

Gedo and EVIL Meet in Singles Action

The Bullet Club civil war between HOUSE OF TORTURE and War Dogs continues. At the Best of the Super Juniors 32 final, EVIL and Gedo meet in singles action, but it can be expected that there will be some shenanigans.

At Dominion 6.15, EVIL faces David Finlay, but he looks to make an example of Gedo before that. This will be the lead-in to that event, and it will be intriguing to see how they move ahead of that.

More From LWOS Pro Wrestling

Header photo – NJPW – Stay tuned to the Last Word on Pro Wrestling for more on NJPW Best of the Super Juniors 32 and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
