It’s been rumored for multiple venues in the Northeast for months now, including Philadelphia and Detroit, but it appears that the WWE<\/a> has finalized their location for next year’s WrestleMania 35<\/strong> <\/em>and it will be at the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, the home of the NFL’s New York Giants\u00a0<\/strong>and New York Jets<\/strong>. Much like the NFL team, the event will be billed as from New York as well, like the WWE did when they were last at Metlife Stadium for WrestleMania 29<\/strong> <\/em>in 2013. That years WrestleMania was headlined by John Cena<\/strong> defeating The Rock<\/strong> for the WWE Championship in front of 80,000+ people in attendance. The news was reported today by Barstool Sports<\/strong>‘ Robbie Fox<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

BREAKING: #WrestleMania<\/a> 35 will be held back at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey (promoted as New York). Philadelphia and Detroit were the other frontrunners but I’m told NY is a done deal at this point.<\/p>\n

Incidentally, it’s the same location that internet reporter Brad Shepard<\/strong>, who has broken many wrestling stories in the past (such as Vince McMahon<\/strong> bringing back the XFL<\/strong> back in December), mentioned as being the final choice back in November.<\/p>\n

Barring an unexpected change, Metlife Stadium will host Wrestlemania 35.<\/p>\n
