WWE Backlash 2025 is here, and it is an intriguing event. WWE Backlash 2025 takes place on Saturday, May 10, at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The event is set to begin at 7 PM ET\/4 PM PT.<\/p>\n

This will be the 20th event in Backlash’s history. WWE Backlash 2025 will be available to watch on Peacock<\/a> in the US, and on Netflix<\/a> for international markets.<\/p>\n

At the time of writing, five matches have been confirmed for the event, with four of those being for titles. Here is all you need to know about the event, as well as a preview of three of the matches.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    John Cena and Randy Orton Reignited<\/h2>\n

    John Cena’s historic 17th World Championship win at WrestleMania 41 sent shockwaves throughout WWE and beyond, but it did not take long for an old nemesis to resurface. On the April 21 Raw, Randy Orton struck the newly-minted champion with an RKO, making it clear that he would be his first threat. With WWE Backlash 2025 emanating from Orton’s hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, the stage is set for one more chapter in one of the WWE’s most storied rivalries.<\/p>\n

    Cena and Orton has clash 21 times in their careers, with Cena having won 13 of those. Notably, Cena is also on a four-match winning streak against ‘The Viper’. Yet, with the hometown crowd behind him and 14 World Championship reigns of his own, Orton steps into the match with pride and unfinished business on the line.<\/p>\n

    As Cena continues his retirement tour, this battle with Orton feels like a fitting, high-stakes collision between two future Hall of Famers. Perhaps we are just one RKO away from history being rewritten, and the most intriguing storyline in WWE right now getting another swerve.<\/p>\n
