Brinley Reece is a former NXT talent, earning her first Evolve win a few weeks ago. It\u2019s an even affair to start, as Jackson Drake is seen in the VIP section watching the match. Zayda Steel picks up the steam with hard-hitting strikes.<\/p>\n<p>Zayda hits a double knee gutbuster for two, but Reece gets a backdrop suplex to spark a comeback. Big spinebuster by Brinley, and a Buckshot lariat gets two. Zayda nearly gets one with a roll-up, but Brinley fights back with her TKO, Reece\u2019s Pieces, for the win (5:14).<\/p>\n<p>Swipe Right make their way to ringside to help comfort Zayda Steel and accompany her to the back.<\/p>\n<p>Kylie Rae talks with Zara Zakher about her match with Wendy Choo tonight. Zara tries to calm her down, and convinces her she must overcome her fear.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Luca Crusifino vs. Keanu Carver<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Luca goes right after Carver with a flurry of strikes, surprisingly earning an early advantage. A cannonball in the corner gets two. Carver sends him to the corner, but Luca springboards back, only to get caught in midair and mauled by a big right hand. Keanu sends Luca over the top rope, and beats him up outside for a bit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Back in, Carvers continues his dominance, gaining the high ground on Crusifino, as the commentators hype him up as the next big WWE star. A blind charge from Keanu misses, giving Luca a brief opening to hit a series of moves, concluding with a big boot for two. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crusifino tries a suplex, but his back gives out. Keanu then lays him out with the Pounce for a close nearfall. A running powerslam finally ends it, as Carver\u2019s winning streak extends to three <\/span><b>(5:08)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Chantel Monroe vs. Masyn Holiday<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chantel goes to work early, but Masyn quickly takes her down and a hiptoss sends Monroe to the apron. Chantel uses the rope to her advantage and goes to work on Holiday\u2019s left arm. Holiday gets a roll-up for two, only for Chantel to gain control again. Masyn gets a brief comeback, but Chantel goes back to the arm, before rolling her up with a handful of tights for a cheap win <\/span><b>(3:31)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the bout, Monroe gets interviewed for her second victory in Evolve. She is not surprised about this win, and she believes she will be the frontrunner for the Evolve Women\u2019s Championship, \u201cbecause that\u2019s what winners do!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Evolve Face-Off: Dani Palmer vs. Kali Armstrong<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dani talks about her mistake that cost them their tag match on the debut episode, and tries to tell Kali they must <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">evolve<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from that if they want to succeed in this business. Kali ain\u2019t having none of that, saying she\u2019d been doing just fine after splitting off from the tag team since the first week and that Palmer will drag her down. They then argue some more, eventually challenging each other to an official match next week.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Joe Coffey vs. Harlem Lewis<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They promote this as part of tonight\u2019s \u201cdouble main event\u201d. Both men lock up to start, and the crowd decides to boo Lewis instead. Coffey goes to the arm off an armdrag. Lewis shows off his strength by catching Joe as he goes for a springboard crossbody. Harlem catches Joe with a strike before following it up with a clothesline and a big boot for two.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lewis goes to a chinlock that Coffey eventually counters into a suplex. Coffey with a trifecta of shoulder blocks, and he follows it up with a battering ram and a springboard moonsault for two. A running crossbody sends both men outside, sparking a fistfight outside that ends with Coffey missing a right hand smash and hitting the ring-post. Ouch\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Back inside, Coffey with a headbutt for two, but Lewis sees the weakness and stomps his hand. Finally, Harlem finishes him off with a suplex \/ powerslam combo for a huge win <\/span><b>(5:17)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Kylie Rae vs. Wendy Choo<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wendy offers a handshake, only to take Kylie down with a headlock takeover. They go to a criss-cross, as Wendy tries to throw Rae off with her creepy antics. Kylie uses her speed to ignore her, only for Choo to catch her with a knee to the back. Choo wickedly twists her head using her feet and a corner big boot gets two. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kylie bounces back with a few clotheslines and crashes onto Choo in the corner with a cannonball for two. A roll-up gets two for Kylie, but Choo drops her with a German suplex.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kylie fights back with a flying armdrag and a superkick, but Choo pops back up like the female Undertaker! <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kylie screams, \u201cI don\u2019t fear you!\u201d, then quickly kicks her in the face one more time. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A crossface is locked in, and for a moment, it seems like Wendy is about to tap. That\u2019s not the case, though, as Wendy reverses it into a flash pin for two. Rae comes off the top, but Choo catches her with a full nelson and finally puts her to sleep with the Dirt Map <\/span><b>(6:16)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wendy continues her trend of placing a red blanket over her opponent, as we then head off the air\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Next week:<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dani Palmer vs. Kali Armstrong!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Final Thoughts<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This was a really good episode that I enjoyed. They finally have a clear direction of which way they want to go moving forward &#8212;\u00a0 a mixture of undercard NXT talents, WWE ID prospects, and a few NXT \/ NXT UK alumnus appearing every now and then. It looks like a championship belt is coming to the program soon as well, which is another thing to look forward to.
