It all starts this weekend with <em><strong>wXw Dead End<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 850px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wxw-wrestling.com\/media\/2018\/Dead_End_2018\/DEad_End_XVII_Poster_A6_TIM_850.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"1191\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: wXW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3><strong>Veit Mueller vs Julian Pace<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure style=\"width: 850px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wxw-wrestling.com\/media\/2018\/Dead_End_2018\/Dead_End_XVII_Matchgrafik_Veit_Mueller_vs_Julian_Pace_850.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"478\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: wXw<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Pace<\/strong> is the current wXw Academy Trophy Champion and with just about one and a half year of experience, he seems to be a very promising prospect to watch out for in the future. The veteran in this match is <strong>Veit Mueller<\/strong>, who has roughly around 5 years of in-ring experience. One went to the man who defeated the former RISE member<strong> Chris Colen<\/strong> at <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/01\/18\/preview-wxw-back-to-the-roots-xvii-1-20-2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Back To The Roots<\/a><\/strong><\/em>: <strong>Da Mack<\/strong>. The other one has to be fought out at <em>Dead End<\/em>. <strong>Ivan Kiev<\/strong> lost his Shotgun Championship at the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2017\/12\/20\/preview-wxw-17th-anniversary-2017\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">17th Anniversary<\/a><\/em> show to <strong>Bobby Gunns<\/strong>. <strong>Lucky Kid<\/strong> is part of the <strong>Young Lions\u00a0<\/strong>with <strong>Tarkan Aslan<\/strong>. A match between two young performers that look to secure their opportunity for competing in 16 Carat.<\/p>\n<p>Prediction: <em>Lucky Kid goes to 16 Carat Gold 2018\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>wXw World Tag Team Championship:\u00a0RINGKAMPF (Walter &amp; Timothy Thatcher) (c) vs Jay-FK<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure style=\"width: 850px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wxw-wrestling.com\/media\/2018\/Dead_End_2018\/Dead_End_XVII_Matchgrafik_Ringkampf_vs_JayFK_850.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"478\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: wXw<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Walter<\/strong> is the challenger for the wXw Unified World Wrestling championship on day two of the 16 Carat Gold Tournament &#8211;\u00a0he will face the winner of <em>Dead End&#8217;<\/em>s Main Event there. After his international breakthrough in 2017, he looks to exceed last year by making 2018 the year of <strong>RINGKAMPF.<\/strong> His partner is starting in the Tournament itself and hopes to secure a monumental win for RINGKAMPF and an opportunity to fight for the Unified title in the future. Together they are defending the Tag belts against the up and coming team of <strong>Francis Kaspin<\/strong> and <strong>Jay Skillet<\/strong>. This match could be a showcase for either one of the teams and might have a surprising title change in the end&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Prediction: <em>Jay-FK get the surprise win<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>wXw\u00a0Women&#8217;s\u00a0Championship:\u00a0Toni Storm (c) vs Killer Kelly vs Session Moth Martina<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure style=\"width: 850px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wxw-wrestling.com\/media\/2018\/Dead_End_2018\/Dead_End_XVII_Matchgrafik_Toni_vs_Martina_vs_Kelly_850.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"478\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: wXw<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/01\/20\/toni-storm-wxw-womens-champion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Champ<\/a> won the title at the <em>17th Anniversary<\/em> show from<a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2017\/12\/25\/wxw-crowns-first-ever-womens-champion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Killer Kelly<\/a> in her first defence. <strong>Martina<\/strong> defeated<strong> Melanie Gray<\/strong> in a brutal Hardcore Match with tables, chairs and thumbtacks to receive this opportunity, which led to this Triple Threat. This is the last Marquee Event before the 16 Carat Gold tournament happens, so let&#8217;s see who walks into the biggest event of the wXw year as champion. Can <strong>Kelly<\/strong> reclaim the gold and be a 2x Women&#8217;s champion, is the Session Moth going to grind her way to her first ever wXw title, or is the <strong>STARDOM<\/strong> Superstar going to retain her belt?<\/p>\n<p>Prediction: <em>Martina wins the title<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>wXw Shotgun Championship:\u00a0Bobby Gunns (c) vs Absolute Andy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure style=\"width: 850px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wxw-wrestling.com\/media\/2018\/Dead_End_2018\/Dead_End_XVII_Matchgrafik_Bobby_Gunns_vs_Andy_850.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"478\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: wXw<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As mentioned earlier, Gunns won the title last year. During a promo at <em>Back To The Roots<\/em> he got interrupted by Andy and they had a non-title match which Andy won, so he now challenges for the title. <strong>Andy<\/strong> turned against his former <strong>&#8220;A4&#8221;<\/strong> partner <strong>Marius Al-Ani<\/strong> at the wXw <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2017\/10\/06\/wxw-world-tag-team-league-2017-preview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">World Tag League 2017<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>and he seems to be rejuvenated since his turn &#8211; although the betrayed one could return and interfere in his former friend&#8217;s match. Gunns is very charismatic and could be one of the next prospects to look out for when 16 Carat comes around over the next few years.<\/p>\n<p>Prediction: <em>Bobby Gunns retains<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>wXw Unified World Wrestling Championship:\u00a0&#8220;Bad Bones&#8221; John Klinger (c) vs. Mike &#8220;Speedball&#8221; Bailey<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wxw-wrestling.com\/media\/2018\/Dead_End_2018\/Dead_End_XVII_Matchgrafik_John_Klinger_vs_Mike_Bailey_850.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mike Bailey<\/strong> joins the roster ahead of <em>16 Carat Gold<\/em> and gets a shot at the most prestigious title in wXw against the leader of RISE, one of the most dominant factions in wXw. Klinger is coming off a victory against his hardest rival,\u00a0<strong>Ilja Dragunov,<\/strong> in a bloody match at the <em>17th Anniversary<\/em> show. RISE lost to\u00a0<strong>RINGKAMPF<\/strong> and <strong>Monster Consulting<\/strong> at <em>Back To The Roots<\/em> in the &#8220;K\u00e4figschlacht&#8221; when <strong>Walter<\/strong> submitted <strong>Bad Bones<\/strong> and subsequently made himself a number one contender for the traditional Unified Title match at Night 2 of <em>16 Carat Gold<\/em>.
