All the qualifiers are over, and WWE’s best are waiting to start their path to WrestleMania. The excitement is at a fever pitch as we head into the Elimination Chamber.

Four matches are on the docket for Elimination Chamber, and all of them have massive implications for WWE’s biggest show of the year. As much as we all think we know who is going to win those matches, there is every chance that we are thinking with our hearts and not our minds.

It’s a hard show to predict, but hey, here we are, so why not give it a shot?

Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn (Unsanctioned Match)

The past few months have become incredibly personal for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Their on-again, off-again relationship is now off again, and they have been throwing some serious barbs at one another in the lead-up to this match.

The heightened stakes of an unsanctioned gimmick will make this contest fantastic but also hard to watch. Near the end of the match, there will be some serious spots that will make even the most iron-gutted of us squeamish. It will be a match you need to watch.

Kevin Owens has to walk away the winner here. He is in the midst of a career heel run, and his momentum must not be halted going into WrestleMania. If him and Randy Orton go off, it would mean more for Owens to have a win under his belt.

Winner: Kevin Owens

Trish Stratus & Tiffany Stratton vs. Nia Jax & Candice LeRae

It’s great to see Trish Stratus back in a WWE ring. She brings great energy with her and will ensure more eyes are on anything that she touches. Stratus’ injection into this grouping adds some big-time backup for Tiffany Stratton while playing well off both heels.

This match more than likely will not be given the time to build up towards something great. Charlotte Flair will be involved, and there is a great chance that this match will revolve around her and Stratton. Still, we will get to see Stratus back in action, which is always a treat.

Having Stratton and Stratus lose makes little sense here. Stratton needs all the momentum she can handle going up against the Queen, and it could lead to an interesting Stratus and Nia Jax showdown at WrestleMania.

Winners: Tiffy Stratton & Trish Stratus

Women’s Elimination Chamber Match

Liv Morgan vs. Bianca Belair vs. Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez

The roster of women in this match is stacked. Four of the six women have worn world championships around their waists, and all six of these women would be fantastic opponents for Rhea Ripley.

As far as Elimination Chamber matches go, this should be one of the better ones. There are a ton of interwoven stories headed into this match that will make any pairing a good one.

We have power, speed, and brains in this match, and it will be fun to see the spots that these women can come up with. It’s a good chance we are going to see something special in this match.

Four women could conceivably win this match. Bianca Belair and Bayley are the veteran former champions that would be great opposite Ripley, and Morgan has a ton of history that would make for a good story.

They are great choices, but the best is Alexa Bliss. Her return pop at the Royal Rumble was thunderous, and WWE needs to strike while the iron is hot.

Winner: Alexa Bliss

Men’s Elimination Chamber Match

Seth Rollins vs. John Cena vs. Logan Paul vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest vs. CM Punk

As with the women’s match, there is a lot of ambiguity for this match. All the men involved are big-time players, and all but one have been world champions. The direction of the WWE Championship is up in the air, and the winner of this match will determine that direction.

To be fair, CM Punk and John Cena are believed to be the front runners, but never count Seth Rollins out. Cody Rhodes has oodles of history with Rollins, and it could provide for an amazing WrestleMania rematch. If the match comes down to these three men, there should be a fantastic sprint to the finish.

As great as Cena and Rollins would be as choices, we have to go with CM Punk here. Since his return, he has made it his mission to main-event WrestleMania.

This mission was hindered last year, and he won’t be denied this time. Plus, this could be the night that he cashes in his favor from Paul Heyman.

Winner: CM Punk

More From LWOS Pro Wrestling

Header photo – WWE – Stay tuned to the Last Word on Pro Wrestling for more on WWE Elimination Chamber and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
