Owens challenged Zayn for a match at the Elimination Chamber whether he is cleared or not. Zayn said Owens tried to end his career with the package piledriver and over what? Over a wrestling match. Over Zayn showing up ringside to check on Owens during his match with Cody Rhodes. Zayn thought that was being a good friend. But guess not. Both men admitted to be hurting. The story continues.

Following the video, Zayn opened Raw standing in the ring in street clothes, grabbing his injured neck as the crowd chanted his name. Zayn said it’s been a tough couple weeks but he’s had time to think about his history with Owens. Zayn said he can’t think of anyone else whose names have been synonymous with each other their entire careers like him and Owens. They did it together from pool halls to WrestleMania and everything in between. Zayn said he’s forgiven a lot but can’t forgive this time because Owens tried to end his career. But the problem for Owens is he didn’t get the job done because Zayn has enough left in the tank for a fight. Zayn accepted Owens challenge for a fight at Elimination Chamber in Toronto, where it all began for the two men. But Zayn was interrupted by Adam Pearce, who told him the answer is no, he’s not cleared and he’s been told this many times already. There will be no match in Toronto, Pearce can’t make it official…Zayn stops Pearce on the ramp saying he knew them and their history. He knows Zayn isn’t taking no for an answer. Zayn said he’s not leaving the ring until he gets his match. Pearce says he can’t sanction the match…but, that doesn’t mean the two of them can’t fight. Pearce can’t stop Owens from anything he wants to do. There are no referees, no rules. WWE is washing their hands of this. It’s all risk and no reward for Zayn according to Pearce. Pearce says this could end Zayn’s career. Zayn understands this crystal clear and says everything Pearce said about Owens applies to him too. Pearce can’t stop Zayn either.

As the crowd chants “let them fight,” Pearce makes the announcement. Owens vs Zayn in an unsanctioned one-on-one match at Elimination Chamber in Toronto. Fight forever boys, fight forever.

Backstage with the Judgment Day, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan are chatting about adding a new member as Morgan addresses how Mysterio has been stepping up lately. Finn Balor enters and says three members of the group are going to be in the chamber. Morgan already qualified, and Balor says he and Raquel Rodriguez are going to qualify tonight. Balor then tells Mysterio no new members. We’ve been saying it for weeks. Judgment Day is totally fine…

Vic Joseph showed the Google Maps of Bayley’s week which started with qualifying for the chamber at SmackDown, heading to NXT, to the NBA All Star Game, back to NXT for Vengeance Day and now at Raw tonight. Styles infuriated Breakker but he didn’t attack. Breakker pulled his Intercontinental Championship out of the ring and walked off. Seems we have a future challenger being set up.

Backstage with the Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile. Nile reminds the brothers they didn’t win but tonight she will as “Master Gable” wants them all to have gold by the time he gets back. Gunther stole Jey Uso’s entrance to feel what the ‘Yeet’ was all about but no one was yeeting. Gunther had a mic and began talking as he walked down the steps saying the yeet was a simple gesture for simple people. Gunther said he didn’t blame the fans for not appreciating him as him performing for fans was like reading Shakespeare to a dog. Ouch. Gunther said he’s sick and tired of stepping in the ring with people who can’t lace his boots. He was hopeful he could talk and beat sense into Uso to make the right decision but because of the fans, he has a false sense of confidence. Gunther said Uso has dug his own grave and that he outclasses him at every aspect of wrestling once the bell rings. Gunther reached the ring as “you suck” chants rained down on the champ. Gunther told the fans that after WrestleMania, Uso’s blood was on their hands. Gunther said the fans need to be honest – do they actually think Uso has a chance? “We want Jey” chants started but Gunther continued as he approached the commentary desk to ask for a professional opinion. Both McAfee and Michael Cole backed up as Gunther asked for their unbiased opinion. Gunther threw the mic at McAfee, who told the crowd and Gunther that he believed Uso could beat him and hoped he could. As Gunther began to corner McAfee, Uso’s music hit and he started to make his way down the ramp as official s held him back. Gunther egged him on in the ring and Uso broke away from security and beelined to Gunther. Uso took out the officials as he attacked Gunther, who quickly rolled out of the ring in retreat. Uso stood tall to end the segment.

Backstage with Morgan and Rodriguez. The two said all they have done is elevate the competition in the women’s division, denying the attack on Jade Cargill despite the video footage. Morgan says they don’t have time for theories but…if they had done it, they wouldn’t feel bad about it. It could happen to anyone who gets in their way and tonight, that’s Roxanne Perez.

Penta vs Pete Dunne

Pete Dunne stopping Penta from the Cero Miedo to start, immediately attacking his opponent. Penta quickly recovers though with a hurricanrana on Dunne, but Dunne with the dropkick to shift things back in his favor. The two come to blows outside as Penta hits the tope to take out both men on the outside. The Penta Experience continues strong.

Backstage with Jey Uso. Uso says he feels underestimated. No one believes he can do it, everyone doubts him, but who is standing here as the rumble winner. At WrestleMania, Uso promises to shock the world again by beating Gunther.

Raquel Rodriguez vs Roxanne Perez

Raquel Rodriguez’ strength advantage is clear at the beginning as Rodriguez makes early work of Perez with the power game. Naomi and Belair continue going after Morgan inside the ring but Rodriguez is able to pull her partner away. This certainly isn’t over between these four. But what is over is the qualifying for the Women’s Elimination Chamber.

Backstage with Seth Rollins. Rollins says WrestleMania is 10 weeks away and his only path there is to beat Balor tonight and enter the Elimination Chamber. Rollins says they both need this win but he needs it more. Kingston says he has more title wins than Mysterio and has been in WWE longer, 19 years to be exact. Kingston says the difference between him and Mysterio is he never left and if anybody should be locker room leader, it should be him. It was audacious that Mysterio kicked them out of the locker room and that decision forced their hand to go after him last week. Kingston says the fans should be thanking them for showing mercy because it could have been worse what they did to Mysterio. Woods says they did him a favor and they did it for the fans. Delusions ring supreme as New Day says the fans should be on their knees thanking God for the New Day. The two were interrupted by the arrival of the LwO saying their actions are unforgivable. New Day run away before Lee can dive through the ropes.

Cathy Kelley catches up with Belair and Naomi, who promise they will go after Morgan together in the chamber and the only time they won’t, is if it comes down to the two of them for the chance to challenge the women’s champion.

Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins

Before the bell even rang and before Rollins was able to get his fur off, Balor viciously attacked him in the middle of the ring.
