Looking to run the gauntlet at the #1 position, IYO SKY makes her way to the ring. Joining her is former Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan. For only the 3rd time in her young career, former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez enters the fray.

First-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria enters at #4. Next up is the Women’s United States Champion, Chelsea Green. WWE’s biggest stars, present and future, have kicked off the 8th installment of the Women’s Royal Rumble. At the #9 spot, Lash Legend makes her Women’s Rumble debut.

The first elimination of the night comes from Chelsea Green eliminating B-Fab. At #10, Bianca Belair comes out like a house on fire with offense. Bayley, last year’s winner, enters at #12. After eliminating Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria earlier in the night, Ivy Nile would be eliminated by rival Maxxine Dupri. Unfortunately, she would also get dumped by the Pure Fusion Collective.

At the midway point, Naomi enters at 15. Jaide Parker makes her Rumble debut at #16. At# 19, the newest WWE Superstar and former TNA Wrestling Knockout’s Champion, Jordynne Grace, enters the match, clearing the field and eliminating Jaida Parker quickly. After two years away from the ring, the “Goddess” Alexa Bliss has returned at the Royal Rumble!

Another NXT debutant enters the Royal Rumble in the form of Stephanie Vaquer. Right after, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus enters the Royal Rumble. Alexa Bliss would get eliminated by Liv Morgan. At #27, the Queen is back! Charlotte Flair enters the match to an ovation. Current NXT Women’s Champion Giulia joins the pool at #28.

In a shocking turn of events, Giulia eliminates Jordynne Grace. For the final entrant, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella enters the Rumble at #30.

The final three came down to Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax, and Roxanne Perez. Jax would get eliminated by Flair. Perez would try to hang on, but Flair, with her veteran experience, would manage to get in a devastating Big Boot to win the Women’s Rumble.

BLISS is BACK! 😲#RoyalRumble pic.twitter.com/ICEdNpcJH4

— WWE (@WWE) February 1, 2025

IYO SKY

Liv Morgan

Roxanne Perez

Lyra Valkyria

Chelsea Green

B-Fab

Ivy Nile

Zoey Stark

Lash Legend

Bianca Belair

Shayna Baszler

Bayley

Sonya Deville

Maxxine Dupri

Naomi

Jaida Parker

Piper Niven

Natalya

Jordynne Grace

Michin

Alexa Bliss

Zelina Vega

Candice LeRae

Stephanie Vaquer

Trish Stratus

Raquel Rodriguez

Charlotte Flair

Giulia

Nia Jax

Nikki Bella

2-time #RoyalRumble winner @MsCharlotteWWE is going to #WrestleMania! pic.twitter.com/B1JwbZz6ho

— WWE (@WWE) February 2, 2025

WWE Tag Team Championship: #DIY (c) vs. Motor City Machine Guns

Intense match between these two. The second phase of this match saw MCMG go on the offensive, facing sudden death and knowing the next fall could end this match.

Alex Shelley was taken out of the match but soon recovered. He would get tagged in, and he and Chris Sabin would set up Johnny Gargano to hit Skull and Bones to knot it up at one-to-one. When we thought they were exhausted, both teams kicked it into high gear. MCMG and #DIY would trade hits over and over.

MCMG was on the verge of winning. Unfortunately, The Street Profits would get involved. As Shelley and Sabin were ready to hit Skull and Bones, Montez Ford would distract the official while Angelo Dawkins hit Shelley with a crutch. #DIY would capitalize on this, with Ciampa picking up the last fall.

Apparently, the Profits are not aligned with anyone, attacking the retaining champs post-match.

Undisputed WWE Championship Ladder Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens

The American Nightmare has SNAPPED!#RoyalRumble pic.twitter.com/c5KrwNK5Z6

— WWE (@WWE) February 2, 2025

As many expected, this was not a technical classic by any means; it was a downright brawl. Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes went to war and were out for blood. Brutal doesn’t even begin to describe this Ladder Match. All the hits were devastating, with Kevin Owens putting Cody Rhodes through a ladder with a Fisherman’s Buster.

The turning point came when Owens was setting up Rhodes for the Package Piledriver on top of the announcer’s table. Cody would reverse it and hit the Alabama Slam on the setup ladder between the ring and the announcer’s table. Rhodes would climb and unhook both titles to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Cody Rhodes tapped into his darkest side to pull this off.
