Some major stars have already declared for the men but what about the women’s side? There are a few key players who almost certainly have to be in the match, and any one of them could add to the women’s involvement in the All-Star studded affair.

With the second-ever Raw on Netflix comes ample opportunity for a big announcement like that. And while Nia Jax mentioned winning the Royal Rumble, it was unclear, due to the booing, if she actually declared. But even so, here are the women most likely to officially announce their rumble appearance next.

Becky Lynch Could Declare for the Royal Rumble

With John Cena, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns making the first declaration on the guys’ side, having a major star in the division make the inaugural entrance would track. There are not many stars bigger than Becky Lynch. It is rumored that Lynch will have a new contract with WWE and will most definitely be on the Raw roster when she returns.

Anytime Lynch is involved, she is a top contender to win the main event. She probably doesn’t need the Rumble to get a WrestleMania match but it isn’t difficult to imagine that she could.

Nikki Cross Can Finally Show Out as Abby The Witch

The Wyatt Sicks have not been as active recently, and Abby The Witch (aka Nikki Cross) has done next to nothing even when the faction was fighting. The Wyatts do so much of their best work with a well-produced scene that speaks demise for their enemies.

If WWE wants to lean into what it does best, slickly produced videos, and make Cross feel important, being one of the first women to announce for the Rumble could be the way to do it.

Roxanne Perez Makes an Entrance on the Main Roster

After losing her NXT Women’s Championship, Roxanne Perez is absolutely on her way to the Royal Rumble. What that looks like and where that happens is still up in the air, most likely.

One way to build the anticipation for a former NXT champion would be to announce her as an entrant in the Royal Rumble. No appearances on Raw or SmackDown either, just promos on NXT talking up her chances. It would make a splash and, when she arrives that night, what she does and where she ends up will underscore the excitement of her announcement.

Jade Cargill Plans on Revenge in the Royal Rumble

Somebody took out Jade Cargill on SmackDown a while back. We do not know who or why. However, Cargill will eventually tell somebody. When that happens, she may as well announce where that revenge will come by declaring for the Rumble.

Cargill has to be a favorite to win the match as well, so having her as an entrant could be fitting for a narrative purpose.

LETS GOOOOOO 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾#ROYALRUMBLE https://t.co/ONJxIv9kms

— Jade Cargill (@Jade_Cargill) January 29, 2024

Masha Slamovich Enters the Forbbiden Door

TNA and the WWE have cooled after a hot start to their collaboration. Last year, Jordyn Grace made her Royal Rumble debut. Before her, Mickie James represented TNA in the event.

Both of them represented the company’s Knockout Division as the world champion. This year, that honor falls to Masha Slamovich. She will almost certainly be in the match at some point.

However, if WWE wanted to reignite the cross-promotion with TNA, Slamovich would declare herself for the Rumble, and it would have a huge impact. It could even result in a Knockouts Championship match down the line on the road to WrestleMania.

First Women to Declare for The Royal Rumble Can Set the Tone

The ladies will almost certainly set the tone for WWE’s event. The women will probably be the opening match of the event this year. The first women to declare for the Royal Rumble is the cornerstone of the marketing for that event.

It can be a storyline that sells WrestleMania in Las Vegas this year as well, which means how WWE uses that spot could be really important. The first woman to declare for the Royal Rumble dont’ even have to win the event.
