The hits keep coming. Raw on Netflix<\/a> has provided us with tons of announcements from John Cena’s intent to enter and win the Royal Rumble<\/a> to the Undertaker’s surprise return as the American Bad Ass<\/a> and Hulk Hogan’s not-so-triumphant return alongside Jimmy “the Mouth of the South” Hart<\/a>. But perhaps the biggest one came in a more subtle form involving a conversation between Roman Reigns and his advocate, Paul Heyman.<\/p>\n

In a backstage segment that took place prior to the night’s main event of Seth Rollins vs CM Punk, Heyman met Reigns outside of his locker room and asked the tribal chief about when to schedule a proper celebration so the world could once again acknowledge him as the undisputed tribal chief. Reigns told Heyman that date would be January 27th before walking into a locker room with 2K25 on the door.<\/p>\n

Roman Reigns – Cover Star of WWE 2K25?<\/h2>\n

It seems like Reigns will be revealed as the cover star for 2K25 and the official trailer will be released as part of his tribal chief celebration. After gracing the cover in 2020, Reigns was nabbed as one of the favorites to get the nod again this year, following one of the most successful runs in WWE history. Reigns’ tribal chief has become an iconic character and his 1,316-day championship reign is the most in the modern history of the company. In fact, it’s the longest such reign in the last 35 years. Somehow, someway, WWE has kept the Bloodline story fresh for years and Reigns’ ascendance as the champion WWE always believed he could be, is a big part of why.<\/p>\n

About a month ago, it was announced that WWE 2K25 would be released in WWE Q4 Fiscal 2025, which would peg the date somewhere between January 1st and March 31st. While it is unlikely that January 27th will be the release date for the game, it is a very real possibility the company could release the trailer and reveal the cover star, much like they have in recent years. Cody Rhodes was revealed as the cover star on January 23rd<\/a> for 2K24 and John Cena was announced to grace the front of the game on January 25th for 2K23.<\/p>\n

It seems likely that January 27th, the world will acknowledge the cover of the tribal chief.<\/p>\n
