Live from the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, Wrestle Kingdom 19 was the first of three major wrestling events taking place in Japan over the next couple of days. Wrestle Kingdom 19 had an attendance of 24,107 people.<\/p>\n<p>The event is the marquee event of NJPW and, as a result, the promotion pulled out all the stops. Although this served its purpose as a standalone event, Wrestle Kingdom 19 also provided a launchpad for the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2025\/01\/03\/preview-wrestle-dynasty-1-5-25\/\" target=\"_self\">Wrestle Dynasty<\/a> event, which takes place on Sunday, January 5 at the Tokyo Dome. Wrestle Dynasty will be co-promoted by NJPW, AEW, ROH, CMLL, and Stardom.<\/p>\n<p>Wrestle Kingdom 19 had 10 matches, with seven of those being title matches. Of those seven title matches, five new champions were crowned, with only two titleholders retaining their gold.
