In February 2020, Gunther was fatter and called WALTER. But not everything has changed. He was also – as he is today – a dominant champion.<\/p>\n

WALTER was approaching a year as NXT UK Champion<\/a> and needed a new challenger having already defeated Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, Joe Coffey, and Dave Mastiff. At WWE Worlds Collide, “The Ring General” and his Imperium stable defeated Adam Cole’s Undisputed Era.<\/p>\n

Simply put, WALTER was the most interesting wrestler on the planet. He was certainly the most successful wrestler from Europe and Ireland since Finn B\u00e1lor. WWE announced NXT UK Takeover: Dublin and began building towards the dream match of B\u00e1lor vs. WALTER. Then, the global pandemic happened and the whole thing was off.<\/p>\n
