Match Point returns for Tetsuya Naito<\/strong>‘s first non-New Japan\u00a0tour\u00a0in the US ever.\u00a0 In his third match (following matches with Wrestling Revolver<\/strong> and AAW<\/strong> the nights previous), he takes on\u00a0indie star\u00a0AR<\/strong> Fox\u00a0<\/strong>(aka Dante Fox on Lucha Underground).\u00a0 The match is being held to commemorate the one year anniversary of\u00a0Glory Pro Wrestling<\/strong>, Sunday February 18.\u00a0They will be looking to get people talking about the wrestling rather than former owner\u00a0Michael Elgin<\/strong>, with a first time ever meeting between two great workers with very different styles in AR Fox vs Tetsuya Naito.<\/p>\n

The leader of Los Ingobernables De Japon<\/strong>, Naito wrestles using the ways of “Tranquilo”.\u00a0 He will slow the match to his pace and taunt Fox at every chance.\u00a0 When he gets an opening he will unleash an onslaught\u00a0of fast-paced athletic moves for maximum effect.\u00a0 His gameplan is to soften up his opponents for his\u00a0Destino\u00a0<\/strong>finisher. \u00a0Naito goes in having lost to\u00a0Kazuchika Okada\u00a0<\/strong>at Wrestle Kingdom 12<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Despite losing, Naito became a star in the eyes of all the fans seeing him for the first time.\u00a0 Getting to see the charismatic anti-hero live and outside a Japanese ring will be incredibly cool and must see for any fan of Glory Pro and will bring a lot of eyes to this fantastic promotion.\u00a0 The crowd will no doubt eat up Naito’s presence and he won’t look out of place having a hot crowd behind him.\u00a0 This is a rare chance to see an NJPW star compete in an independent company.<\/p>\n

He faces one of the most underrated workers in all the US.\u00a0 AR Fox is the opposite of Naito. He wrestles a dangerous, extreme style from the opening bell.\u00a0 Fox can do some of the most death-defying\u00a0moves I’ve\u00a0seen anyone pull off in a wrestling ring.\u00a0 The most insane part is he does it and never seriously injures himself or his opponent.\u00a0 This match provides him a chance to wow many people watching him for the first time.\u00a0 Fox’s problem is he will easily\u00a0fall into any trap Naito has set for him.\u00a0 The clash\u00a0of Tranquilo and extremist forms an interesting clash of styles.\u00a0 Fox will need to be at his best and pull out every move in his arsenal.<\/p>\n
