However, it\u2019s fair to say that Ricky maximised his minutes on WWE programming.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Who is Ricky?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite having a surge in popularity after his WWE <em>SmackDown<\/em> appearance, Ricky, who goes by the moniker of <strong>Ricky Gibson<\/strong> on the independent scene, has had a great career in his own right. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He has been in the tag team <strong>Midnight Heat<\/strong> alongside <strong>Eddie Pearl<\/strong> since 2018, with the duo picking up 14 Tag Team Championship victories in their six years together.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In that time, the pair have earned wins over some of the industry\u2019s best. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gibson and Pearl have beaten the likes of <strong>Breeze<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Dirty Dango<\/strong>, the <strong>WorkhorseMen<\/strong>, <strong>Christopher Daniels<\/strong> and the former AEW World Champion, <strong>Swerve Strickland<\/strong>, just to name a few of their fallen foes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rockin\u2019 Ricky has also been featured on <strong>ROH<\/strong>, <strong>NJPW<\/strong> and episodes of <strong>AEW: <em>Dark<\/em><\/strong> throughout his career.
