The inaugural <\/span>All In <\/span><\/em>was symbolic and monumental. A group of wrestlers not associated with <\/span>WWE<\/span><\/strong> sold out an arena. Last year\u2019s event from a sold-out Wembley Stadium was likewise symbolic and monumental. <\/span>A record<\/span> crowd, whether you believe the official 85,258 given by AEW or the lower 72,265 at the turnstiles from Brent City Council. The fact a company other than <\/span>WWE <\/span><\/strong>put so many butts on seats in one of the most iconic stadiums in the world can\u2019t be dismissed.<\/span><\/p>\n

This <\/span>year\u2019s<\/span> will have over 50,000 people. While that\u2019s less than last year, a five-year-old wrestling company did this despite signs of decline elsewhere. The normalization of AEW being <\/span>\u201cunder attack<\/span><\/a>\u201d means any AEW success is instantly countered.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s <\/span>All In<\/span><\/em> build<\/span> is symbolic in showing the company trying to build a bridge between its past and present. Compared to last year\u2019s event, the card is more worthy of being the biggest PPV of the summer. The build has generally been stronger. Hopeful and restorative during a turbulent time.<\/span><\/p>\n

I attended <\/span>All In<\/span><\/em> at Wembley last year and <\/span>I will be attending<\/span> All In<\/span><\/em> again this year. That experience was religious and communal. <\/span>An experience<\/span> I\u2019ve never felt before as a wrestling fan. It was special to me because it inspired me to write about wrestling. What would later become my <\/span>AEW gets <\/span>modern<\/span> masculinity<\/span><\/a> article being the first thing I wrote.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last year <\/span>All In<\/span><\/em> was perhaps AEW\u2019s best PPV of the year, despite the matches on paper not feeling marquee. <\/span>Not all the matches and builds have <\/span>been<\/span> standout<\/span>.<\/span> Yet last year\u2019s event was elevated by the feeling and this in turn perhaps elevated the wrestlers to a standout PPV.<\/span><\/p>\n

Will that same feeling carry <\/span>Bryan Danielson<\/span><\/strong> to the AEW World Championship?<\/span><\/p>\n
