According to Fightful Select<\/a>, sources in RevPro<\/strong><\/em> claim both Michael Oku<\/strong> & Amira<\/strong> are close to joining AEW<\/strong><\/em> and are expected to soon. <\/span><\/p>\n

No deal has been signed yet, but AEW sources said they wouldn’t be surprised to see them end up on the AEW UK shows.<\/span><\/p>\n

This comes after fans speculated he was waving goodbye to York Hall last Sunday following his loss to MJF<\/strong> and now this appears to have been the case. <\/span><\/p>\n

Oku is still the RevPro British Heavyweight Champion and has one more confirmed date in the UK where he is set to defend the title against Luke Jacobs<\/strong> at RevPro\u2019s 12th Anniversary Show on All In<\/strong><\/em> weekend later this month. <\/span><\/p>\n

While not reported, it seems the clear route from here is for Oku to drop the title ahead of the move. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Brit could potentially be the next to face Will Ospreay<\/strong> on arrival with a tailed history between the pair. Oku faced Ospreay in his final RevPro match before he joined AEW, and now he looks set to follow in his footsteps. <\/span><\/p>\n

He hinted at the move after his match against Ospreay in an interview with Stephanie Chase<\/a> where he stated \u201cthere\u2019s been contact made, which obviously makes sense. I wrestled Will earlier in the year in front of Tony Khan<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

I got to meet Tony Khan and have a conversation with him there at the venue as it happened\u201d and now it looks like those talks have finally come to fruition and Oku will sign with company shortly.<\/span><\/p>\n
