On July 19th, 2024,\u00a0<strong>WWE<\/strong> taped the July 26, 2024 edition of\u00a0<em>WWE SmackDown<\/em>. The company decided to do this due to their tour of Japan for their &#8220;WWE Super Shows&#8221; event.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to know what went down in advance, we&#8217;re now, again, issuing a <strong>SPOILER WARNING<\/strong> as we talk about some of the things that happened on next week&#8217;s\u00a0<em><strong>WWE Friday Night SmackDown<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Without further ado, let&#8217;s run it down.<\/p>\n<h3>Full WWE SmackDown Spoilers:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Number one contender\u00a0<strong>LA Knight<\/strong> defeated\u00a0<strong>Santos Escobar<\/strong> in a one-on-one match. After the bout, United States Champion and Knight&#8217;s opponent for\u00a0<em><strong>SummerSlam<\/strong><\/em> <strong>Logan Paul <\/strong>hit the ring to lay out the &#8216;Megastar.&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>Famous Boxing star\u00a0<strong>Terence Crawford<\/strong> did a promo with\u00a0<strong>A-Town Down Under<\/strong>, with the segment concluding when Crawford laid out <strong>Austin Theory<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Queen of the Ring\u00a0<strong>Nia Jax<\/strong> and Women&#8217;s Money in the Bank Winner\u00a0<strong>Tiffany Stratton<\/strong> defeated WWE Women&#8217;s Champion\u00a0<strong>Bayley<\/strong> and her partner\u00a0<strong>Michin<\/strong> in tag team action. It&#8217;s worth noting that Stratton&#8217;s briefcase was all taped up for this match.<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"flex-shrink-0 flex flex-col relative items-end\">\n<div class=\"pt-0\">\n<div class=\"gizmo-bot-avatar flex h-8 w-8 items-center justify-center overflow-hidden rounded-full\">\n<div class=\"relative p-1 rounded-sm flex items-center justify-center bg-token-main-surface-primary text-token-text-primary h-8 w-8\">Top Contender Gauntlet Match: <strong>The <\/strong><strong>Street Profits<\/strong>, <strong>Baron Corbin<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Apollo Crews<\/strong>, <strong>Good Brothers<\/strong>, <strong>Pretty Deadly<\/strong>,<strong> Legado Del Fantasma, <\/strong>and<strong> The Bloodline<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"relative p-1 rounded-sm flex items-center justify-center bg-token-main-surface-primary text-token-text-primary h-8 w-8\">The gauntlet finals saw The Bloodline taking on the Street Profits. As the WWE Universe has seen before, The Bloodline&#8217;s familiar tactics saw all four members targeting Dawkins.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"relative p-1 rounded-sm flex items-center justify-center bg-token-main-surface-primary text-token-text-primary h-8 w-8\">Ford seized an opportunity when Jacob crashed into the ring post, igniting a series of near falls and a spectacular dive into The Bloodline. Jacob then unleashed his greatest hits to finish things off, clinching the win for The Bloodline. The event concluded with The Bloodline asserting dominance, standing tall in the ring with their trademark pose.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>In a dark segment, Undisputed WWE Champion\u00a0<strong>Cody Rhodes<\/strong> ran The Bloodline off with a steel chair in hand. He celebrated with the Street Profits, commending them for their valiant effort against the pack of wolves. Due to the Microsoft outage\/shutdown, Rhodes stated that he would be in Omaha for a bit while informing the fans that <strong>Kevin Owens<\/strong> is in the hospital but will make a full recovery. Cody proceeded to knock over a\u00a0<strong>PRIME\u00a0<\/strong>bottle as a nod to KO, sending the fans home happy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That&#8217;s all for next week&#8217;s <em>WWE SmackDown spoilers<\/em>!
