As reported in a Variety<\/a><\/em> exclusive, Rob Blackhurst<\/strong> has wrapped on his upcoming horror movie \u201cDolly.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Blackhurst was behind the Netflix<\/em> Original, \u201cAmanda Knox\u201d<\/strong><\/em> and the independent film \u201cHere Alone.\u201d<\/strong><\/em> As a result of that success, Blackhust would garner multiple award nominations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The NWA’s Nonbinary Nightmare Becomes a Horror Villaingtff<\/h3>\n

The upcoming film was shot in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Set deep in the Appalachian Mountains, this environment, according to the filmmakers, is a callback to 1970s horror.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Blackhurst was quoted as saying,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe made \u2018Dolly\u2019 as an elegant and twisted fairytale born out of a deep love of genre films and wanting to see something insane that 13-year-old Rod would want to watch. This film is a renewed investment in our ethos as filmmakers and our proud tribe of misfits. And candidly, I really want to make my films \u2018The White Room\u2019 and \u2018Die By Night\u2019 and hope this will help that cause, so Hollywood, please call a fella.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The leading role of the antagonist went to NWA<\/strong> Star Max the Impaler<\/strong>. This was a win over now NWA Women\u2019s champion, Kenzie Paige<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cNon-Binary\u201d nightmare is also the reigning and defending men\u2019s TV champion as well. Max claimed the TV title from Big Strong Matt Mims<\/strong>. Max defends either title in either division based on the gender identity of the challenger.<\/span><\/p>\n

With both TV titles comes their ability to earn a shot at either world title. As a result, once Max hits seven defenses in either division, they earn a shot at either division’s title.<\/span><\/p>\n
