Tournament favorite\u00a0<\/span>Gunther,\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>wildcard\u00a0<\/span>Jey Uso,\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>and breakout star\u00a0<\/span>Ilja Dragunov\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>are all in action in the\u00a0<\/span>King of the Ring.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Iyo Sky and Lyra Valkyria will both continue their flight towards an eventual showdown in the semi-finals of the\u00a0<\/span>Queen of the Ring.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

    The most\u00a0<\/span>interesting<\/span>\u00a0match on the card is Jey Uso vs. Ilja Dragunov. The\u00a0<\/span>match<\/span>\u00a0could genuinely go either way.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    “The Mad Dragon” Ilja Dragunov<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0has the potential to go all the way in the\u00a0<\/span>King of the Ring\u00a0<\/span><\/em>tournament. A win would undoubtedly be a breakout moment for Dragunov. His opening-round match with Ricochet was excellent\u00a0<\/span>but<\/span>\u00a0now he faces the hottest star on the\u00a0<\/span>WWE Raw<\/span><\/em>\u00a0roster.<\/span><\/p>\n

    “Main Event” Jey Uso<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0has never won a solo title. Each World Heavyweight Championship failure takes\u00a0<\/span>a little<\/span>\u00a0heat off the hottest star in WWE. A\u00a0<\/span>King of the Ring<\/span><\/em>\u00a0crown would be a perfect title to help Uso continue to shine as a top star outside of his former\u00a0<\/span>Bloodline<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0faction.<\/span><\/p>\n
