This has opened the door for a lot of questions regarding the future of the group.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With that in mind, let\u2019s take a look at what the future could hold for Judgment Day while \u2018Mami\u2019 is on the shelf.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/g0jYjlCrnK8?si=XysBJbH4-wOwfWCL\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><strong>JD McDonagh<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Il-KZkd0W1c?si=4i5US2lXUeTtYyCO\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since joining Judgment Day, <strong>JD McDonagh<\/strong> has not had much to write home about. His most notable moment came shortly after officially joining the group, when he was hit with a super RKO by a returning <strong>Randy Orton<\/strong> during WarGames.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With that in mind, McDonagh is someone that WWE can rely on to work with other fast-paced talent and put on impressive matches. His efforts have been showcased in the new <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/i\/events\/1773457579022155776\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><strong>WWE Speed<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, featured on X.com every Wednesday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He is set to take on <strong>Ricochet<\/strong> in the semi-finals of the aforementioned tournament, in which his opponent is the favourite. However, a sly victory could be the catalyst needed to give \u2018The Irish Ace\u2019 a momentum boost.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">McDonagh picking up the win and going on to ultimately be crowned the inaugural <em>WWE Speed<\/em> Champion would be a huge improvement on the Irishman\u2019s success so far.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It remains to be seen whether this title will be defended down the line, but it would allow for a division akin to the former WWE Cruiserweight division to be formed. Giving McDonagh, Ricochet and others the platform to showcase their abilities would be a wise move for WWE.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Dominik Mysterio<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6h5MLaxIKQ0?si=C-m38DcrxniV0dfY\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Without \u2018Mami\u2019 around, it\u2019ll be interesting to see what <strong>Dominik Mysterio<\/strong> gets up to. As one of the most universally-hated heels on the WWE roster, there is a lot of potential for interesting stories moving forward.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coming off the back of another WrestleMania defeat at the hands of his father, <strong>Rey Mysterio<\/strong>, \u2018Dirty Dom\u2019 should be seeking retribution. We\u2019ve already seen him take on <strong>Andrade<\/strong> on <em><strong>Monday Night Raw<\/strong><\/em>, with a stunning performance not being enough to take \u2018El Idolo\u2019 down.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dominik should come into his own over the next few months, as he\u2019ll have to back up his trash talk without his Australian enforcer. A feud against Andrade would make sense initially, although it\u2019s likely that Mysterio would emerge the loser.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His focus on Andrade, Rey Mysterio and the <strong>L.W.O.<\/strong> should cause him to lose touch with the faction\u2019s common goals, leading to dissension between the group. Without Ripley\u2019s ability to break down tension between the team, it could lead to infighting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With potential places in the Money in the Bank ladder match at stake later in the year, the distrust could build between all four men, before Ripley makes her return. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whether or not Mysterio should leave the group is another question entirely, but his attention being drawn elsewhere ought to provide enough jeopardy for the future of Judgment Day.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Finn B\u00e1lor<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gLi1xR6JMw0?si=8jmlxDAAO14vExA2\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Finn B\u00e1lor<\/strong> has accomplished a lot during his time in WWE. A multi-time champion and prominent feature on <em>Monday Night Raw<\/em>, he has worked hard over the past eight years to maintain his relevance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, since losing the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships at <em><strong>WWE WrestleMania 40<\/strong><\/em>, he has not had a clear path for the next few months. It seems as though he wants to try and reclaim the titles, although <strong>Damian Priest<\/strong> appears to have different priorities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With that in mind, B\u00e1lor could enlist the support of one of his other stablemates in trying to recapture the gold. An unsuccessful attempt at winning their belts back would give B\u00e1lor an opportunity to re-align his desires, focusing his intentions on another title he has held before.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the recent WWE tour of the U.K., WWE Intercontinental Champion <strong>Sami Zayn<\/strong> has been defending his belt against newly-heel <strong>Chad Gable<\/strong>, former champion <strong>Gunther<\/strong> and Finn B\u00e1lor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although the clear story is there for Gable and Zayn to battle over the next few weeks, B\u00e1lor should try and force his way into the picture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A hunt for the WWE Intercontinental Championship would allow \u2018The Prince\u2019 to embrace his darker side, especially as he gets more and more desperate to reclaim the belt. Perhaps a return for his demonic alter-ego could be in store, as he goes to great lengths to claw his way to the belt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alternatively, B\u00e1lor could turn his attentions to the Money in the Bank briefcase. After last summer\u2019s tension-laden story surrounding Priest and B\u00e1lor, it would be interesting to see the reverse after this year\u2019s titular ladder match.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the World Heavyweight Champion and Mr. Money in the Bank in the same stable, it would make for compelling television, as fans eagerly await the expected betrayal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pushing B\u00e1lor back into the main event picture would be a wise move, and the story is there for him to chase another world title, after never losing his in 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Damian Priest<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FKMN1DSN6fw?si=08HyEOt9XUimRCew\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The World Heavyweight Champion, Damian Priest, is currently enjoying a well-deserved stint with the title after a successful cash-in at <em>WWE WrestleMania 40<\/em>. With two of his main challengers seemingly set on destroying one another, Priest\u2019s attention is turned to <strong>Jey Uso<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While Uso and Priest are likely to have a great match at <em><strong>WWE Backlash 2024<\/strong><\/em>, \u2018The Archer of Infamy\u2019 is the favourite to walk away from the event with his championship still around his waist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After dispatching \u2018Main Event\u2019 Jey Uso, Priest will need a new challenger. With <em><strong>WWE Clash at the Castle<\/strong> <\/em>emanating from Glasgow, Scotland, it seems highly likely that <strong>Drew McIntyre<\/strong> will get a shot at recapturing the title in his hometown.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although many would have McIntyre win in Scotland, it would be very interesting to see Priest retain, perhaps with interference from a returning <strong>CM Punk<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Keeping the belt on Damian Priest would make for a captivating story over the summer, especially with <em><strong>WWE Money in the Bank<\/strong><\/em> in July. If Finn B\u00e1lor captures the briefcase as mentioned above, the possibility of a Judgment Day implosion would be tantalising.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B\u00e1lor betraying his teammate to win a World Championship once again would undoubtedly tear the group apart.
