If last week\u2019s <strong><em>New Year\u2019s Revolution<\/em><\/strong> edition of the premier Friday night show is to go by, <strong>WWE<\/strong> will probably top what they did from the previous 12 months, which is statistically the biggest year for the conglomerate ever.<\/p>\n<p>We are officially on the road to <strong><em>WrestleMania 40<\/em><\/strong>. However, one big stop before the \u2018Granddaddy of them All\u2019 is the annual January spectacular, the <strong><em>Royal Rumble<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On this week\u2019s <strong><em>WWE Friday Night SmackDown<\/em><\/strong>, expect things to heat up as we hit the first of the big five PLEs for WWE. With all that said, let\u2019s preview the latest installment of <em>WWE SmackDown<\/em>. Unfortunately, the \u2018friends\u2019 of Paul, <strong>Grayson Waller,<\/strong> and <strong>Austin Theory<\/strong> took exception to this, leading to a bit of a scuffle in the back.<\/p>\n<p>After all that animosity, WWE higher-ups made the match official for this Friday night. It will be Cameron Grimes versus Grayson Waller. Will Grimes regret the way he acted, or will Waller get exposed for his brown-nosing ways by the former Million Dollar Champion?<\/p>\n<h3>Leading the Charge<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bn7qIwGIhH0?si=7Q7jetxUGwxl6eQj\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Damage CTRL <\/strong>started the new year at <em>New Year\u2019s Revolution<\/em> with a bang, or so they thought. WWE Women\u2019s Champion <strong>IYO SKY<\/strong> and \u2018Michin\u2019 <strong>Mia Yim<\/strong> put on one heck of a contest on last week\u2019s <em>SmackDown<\/em>, giving it their absolute best with the championship on the line.<\/p>\n<p>After a barn-burner of a bout, SKY came out on top by executing a flawless Over the Moonsault to put away a very defiant Michin to keep her championship. Damage CTRL celebrated this win like they won the lottery, referring to it as the first step toward their grand takeover plan.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately for them, the \u2018EST of WWE\u2019 <strong>Bianca Belair<\/strong> has an axe to grind with them, declaring for the Women\u2019s Royal Rumble match, a contest in which Damage CTRL leader <strong>Bayley<\/strong> is guaranteeing she\u2019ll win.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the group reached a consensus that Bayley needs to \u2018take care of the problem\u2019 immediately since they can\u2019t afford any form of roadblock on the road to the \u2018Grandest Stage of them All.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>And, solve she shall. It will be Bayley taking on Bianca Belair on this week\u2019s <em>WWE SmackDown<\/em>! Who will gain momentum as we inch closer to the <em>Royal Rumble<\/em>?
