AEW<\/strong> made its Quebec debut this week and this week’s AEW Rampag<\/strong><\/em>e<\/strong> is a rather odd one. As technically, it’s the last thing taped at the Bell Centre here. However, AEW Collision<\/strong><\/em>, which was taped even before AEW Dynamite<\/strong><\/em>, will be the last piece of content to air. Odd indeed.<\/p>\n

Of course, the Bell Centre is infamous for being the home of the 1997 Survivor Series<\/strong><\/em>. Where the Montreal Screw Job took place. And, well, let’s just say it was quite popular to reference the incident whenever WWE<\/strong> stopped by for a VERY long time.<\/p>\n

The last time it was a prominent reference, but at least not imitated as many would in the past, was for Breaking Point 2009<\/strong><\/em>. As one of the main matches of the show featured D-X<\/strong>: Triple H<\/strong> and Shawn Michaels<\/strong>. They took on Legacy<\/strong>: Cody Rhodes<\/strong> and Ted DiBiase Jr.<\/strong> in a Submissions Count Anywhere match.<\/p>\n

And in a cheeky moment, when the crowd started booing Shawn Michaels, Triple H simply claimed it was all Shawn’s fault\u2014an amusing bit. But if rumors are to be believed, Triple H has quite a good amount of blame for it as well.<\/p>\n
