This week\u2019s episode of\u00a0WWE NXT<\/strong><\/em> features a title match, showcase matches, as well as the continuation of the NXT<\/strong><\/em> Men’s Breakout Tournament. The show was pre-taped but, as usual, NXT has only provided a brief snippet of what is to come on the show.<\/p>\n

    Dragon Lee Defends NXT North American Title<\/h3>\n

    Dragon Lee<\/strong> is currently in his first reign as the NXT North American Champion after he successfully challenged ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio<\/strong> for the gold at the NXT Deadline<\/strong> <\/em>PLE.<\/p>\n

    Lee has been personally endorsed by lucha libre legend, Rey Mysterio<\/strong><\/a>, and is settling into his role as the champion well. On the December 19 edition of NXT<\/em>, Lee defends the gold against one of four possible opponents.<\/p>\n

    Lee will face either Drew Gulak<\/strong>, Charlie Dempsey<\/strong>, Damon Kemp<\/strong>, or Myles Borne<\/strong>. Collectively, this four-person stable is known as No Quarter Catch Crew<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    With Lee’s championship open challenge,\u00a0 he opens the door for all who dare to step up to the plate. This means the champion cannot prepare for his opponent, as he will only find out on the day. This early in his reign, any and every fight Lee has could define his trajectory as a champion.<\/p>\n
