Multi-generation wrestlers and family dynasties are part of the mystique and lore of the sport. His dad&#8217;s professional wrestling career began in Calgary, Alberta, Canada as his professional football one was winding down, <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2017\/11\/26\/the-family-business-the-anoai-and-harts\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">training with the legendary <strong>Hart Family<\/strong><\/a> in the late 80s and debuting with <strong>Stampede Wrestling<\/strong>. He became an honorary Hart family member, joining the revamped <strong>Hart Foundation<\/strong> when he finally joined the WWE in the mid-1990s. It was only fitting that Brian Jr. started off in the same Canadian province and aptly, with a former Hart student in former WWE, WCW and ECW legend<strong> Lance Storm<\/strong>. He trained at Storm Wrestling Academy in Calgary from September through December before heading back home to Ohio.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_11590\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11590\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-11590\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/01\/DK1q6qOVAAEMDuo-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"853\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-11590\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: twitter.com\/FlyinBrianJr\/media<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He made his professional wrestling debut last week with\u00a0<strong>Indiana Championship Wrestling<\/strong><em>\u00a0<\/em>and by all accounts impressed in his first outing. Even the veterans took notice.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheRealXPac\/status\/950609194436116480<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/FlyinBrianJr\/status\/947585233074970624<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, one of Ohio&#8217;s most infamous indie icons and <strong>Impact Wrestling<\/strong>\/<strong>Lucha Underground<\/strong> star <strong>Sami Callihan<\/strong> posted a photo from his &#8220;Dayton Dungeon&#8221; that showed Brian Pillman Jr. with his students from his new school.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheSamiCallihan\/status\/950834538955067392<\/p>\n<p>Tonight, just before the Impact tapings began, Sami Callihan joined <strong>Josh Matthews<\/strong> on an impromptu video chat and confirmed that Pillman was now continuing his training with Callihan and Dave &amp; Jake Crist at the new <strong>OI4K Wrestling Academy<\/strong>, which officially opens on March 1, 2018, in Dayton, Ohio.
