{"id":120918,"date":"2023-10-30T08:00:20","date_gmt":"2023-10-30T12:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/?p=120918"},"modified":"2023-10-29T16:47:40","modified_gmt":"2023-10-29T20:47:40","slug":"noah-demolition-in-fukuoka-recap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2023\/10\/30\/noah-demolition-in-fukuoka-recap\/","title":{"rendered":"NOAH Demolition in Fukuoka (10\/28\/23) &#8211; Full Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On October 28th 20203,\u00a0 Pro Wrestling NOAH held their Demolition in Fukuoka PPV with a 9-match card featuring three championship matches and the final NOAH match for <strong>Katsuhiko Nakajima<\/strong> on the undercard teaming alongside <strong>Go Shiozaki<\/strong> along with some preview tag matches for things coming up later within the promotion.<\/p>\n<h2>NOAH Demolition in Fukuoka &#8211; Full Recap<\/h2>\n<p>A big shift occurred during the main event as <strong>KENOH<\/strong> dethroned <strong>Jake Lee<\/strong> to win the GHC Heavyweight championship for the third time and became the only man to beat the leader of GLG twice since his arrival in Pro Wrestling NOAH. Following his win , KENOH was confronted by his former <strong>KONGOH<\/strong> tag partner <strong>Manabu Soya<\/strong> and a challenge for the GHC heavyweight title was set (\u00a0 NOAH The New Year &#8211; 1\/2\/24 ).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack Morris<\/strong> defeated<strong> El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr<\/strong> to win the GHC National championship in the semi main event to end the historic reign of the luchador. This win also adds to the GHC heavyweight tag team championships within the camp of <strong>GLG<\/strong> ( <strong>Jack<\/strong> <strong>Morris<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Anthony<\/strong> <strong>Greene)<\/strong>. While on Japanese commentary , <strong>Kaito Kiyomiya<\/strong> took an interest in the new GHC National champion ahead of his GHC heavyweight tag title match next month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Los Golpeadores<\/strong> ( <strong>Dragon Bane<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Alpha<\/strong> <strong>Wolf<\/strong> ) successfully made their first defense of the GHC Jr heavyweight tag team championships against <strong>YO-HEY<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Tadasuke<\/strong> on the undercard, no new challengers came forward for the luchadores but <strong>Ninja Mack<\/strong> has expressed making a challenge alongside <strong>Alejandro.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Takashi Sugiura<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Naomichi Marufuji<\/strong> defeated <strong>Katsuhiko Nakajima<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Go Shiozaki<\/strong> in a special tag team match on the undercard ( final NOAH match of Katsuhiko Nakajima ). Following the match , the former <strong>AXIZ<\/strong> members stood in the ring one final time and eventually embraced each other .<\/p>\n<p><strong>HAYATA<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Eita vs. Daga<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Yoshinari Ogawa<\/strong> went to a draw due to both the GHC Jr heavyweight champion and Daga pinning each other. This was quite the preview match ahead of their big championship match on November 4th.<\/p>\n<p>Manabu <strong>Soya<\/strong> , <strong>Masa Kitamiya<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Daiki Inaba<\/strong> defeated <strong>Saxon Huxley<\/strong>, <strong>Hideki Suzuki<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Shuhei Taniguchi<\/strong> in a trios match on the undercard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ryohei Oiwa<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Kaito Kiyomiya<\/strong> defeated GLG (Anthony Greene &amp; LJ Cleary) in a tag team match on the undercard. A huge win for the NJPW young lion Oiwa ahead of his upcoming GHC Heavyweight Tag Challenge alongside <strong>Kiyomiya<\/strong> next month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seiki Yoshioka<\/strong>, <strong>Shuji Kondo<\/strong>, Ninja Mack, <strong>Alejandro<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Terry Yaki<\/strong> defeated <strong>Junta Miyawaki<\/strong> , <strong>Atsushi Kotoge<\/strong> , <strong>Hi69<\/strong> , <strong>Hajime O&#8217;Hara<\/strong> , <strong>Xtreme Tiger<\/strong> in a NOAH Jrs tag team showcase match during the undercard.
