All Elite Wrestling<\/strong> concludes its near-month-long Canadian tour with this edition of AEW Collision<\/strong><\/em>. Live from the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Without a doubt, the most fitting place possible to conclude the second annual Owen Hart<\/strong> Tournament. The home of the legendary Hart Family<\/strong> and of course, of Owen Hart himself. This venue was also the home of one of the WWE’s<\/strong> most memorable Pay-Per-View events: In Your House 16 – Calgary Stampede<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

A night that saw a powerful battle between The Undertaker<\/strong> and Vader<\/strong> for the WWF<\/strong> Championship. It also saw Triple H<\/strong> and Mankind<\/strong>, an all-time personal favorite feud, brawl to a double count-out, a fantastic bout and a hell of a surprise between the legendary Great Sasuke<\/strong> and Taka Michinoku<\/strong>, and finally an extremely memorable main event. As The Hart Foundation<\/strong>, Owen and Bret Hart<\/strong>, The British Bulldog<\/strong>, Brian Pillman<\/strong>, and Jim Neidhart<\/strong> defeated The Legion Of Doom<\/strong>, Goldust<\/strong>, Ken Shamrock<\/strong>, and “The Texas Rattlesnake” himself, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin<\/strong> in front of an absolutely thunderous, roaring Calgary crowd.<\/p>\n

It won 1997’s best event of the year in the Wrestling Observer<\/strong> and it’s the closest thing in the 90’s that you will find that can be compared to a good old\u00a0 WWE NXT<\/strong> “black and gold” era Takeover event. Now AEW<\/strong> steps in for the first time with AEW Collision<\/em>.<\/p>\n
