Fans will be allowed to chant, repeat catchphrases, have short conversations and boo under new rules released today December 15, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">All together now: RAIIIIINMAAAKKEERRR!!!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The new rules come after the company was forced to ban fans from being vocal as part of measures to control COVID-19. Interational fans will also be able to attend a Wrestle Kingdom show for the first time in three years. Wrestle Kingdom 17 takes place on\u00a0January, 4 2023 at the Tokyo Dome, Japan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">NJPW President Takami Ohbari said &#8220;singing along to a song for more than one chorus would be disallowed&#8221;.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Cheering Crowds\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;After two and a half years, we now have 100% capacity for non-cheering crowds, and 50% for cheering crowds,&#8221; Ohbari said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;Therefore \u20181,2,3 daa!\u2019, \u2018De! Ja! Pon!\u2019 \u2018Okada, Okada!\u2019 or counting along with the referee. Calls and responses between wrestlers and fans. All these do not constitute \u2018loud voice\u2019 cheering, and are allowed in our new guidelines.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/njpwglobal\/status\/1603270496333991937<\/p>\n<h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Wrestle Kingdom 17 Full Card<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Inoki Memorial Match\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Wrestle Kingdom 17 will include special memorial tag team match in honor of the late NJPW Founder <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2022\/10\/04\/antonio-inoki-honorary-lifetime-chairman\/\" target=\"_self\">Antonio Inoki.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Satoshi Kojima, Yuji Nagata and Togi will take on the team of Tiger Mask, Minoru Suzuki and Tatsumi Fujinami.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Fujinami announced the match at the Wrestle Kingdom 17 press conference whilst wearing a tie gifted to him by Inoki&#8217;s daughter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;At any rate this match has a special significance to it, and knowing that this is such an important match puts an added bit of pressure and nerves for me, but I\u2019ll be heading to the ring with Inoki in mind, and that\u2019s how I\u2019ll be going about this match,&#8221; Fujinami said.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Full Card\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Wrestle Kingdom 17 will see AEW&#8217;s Kenny Omega compete for the IWGP United States Championship against Will Ospreay.
