The NJPW BOSJ 29 win for Takahashi also gives him his fourth overall tournament win, setting another record in the process as the most decorated competitor in tournament history. The match lasted over 30 minutes before Takahashi was able to put away Desperado for the victory.<\/p>\n<h2>NJPW BOSJ 29: Hiromu Takahashi Pulls Off Three-Peat<\/h2>\n<p>Hiromu Takahashi earned the opportunity to go for the three-peat when he won the A Block by defeating reigning IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion <strong>Taiji Ishimori<\/strong> on the final day of BOSJ action. He also defeated former winner <strong>Ryusuke Taguchi<\/strong>, <strong>Francesco Akira<\/strong>, IMPACT X-Division Champion <strong>Ace Austin<\/strong>, <strong>Alex Zayne<\/strong>, and <strong>Clark Connors<\/strong>. The three losses came in a row in the middle of the tournament as<strong> Yoshinobu Kanemaru<\/strong> made Takahashi&#8217;s leg the target of his attack, beating him in less than seven minutes. This destruction of the leg allowed <strong>YOH<\/strong> and <strong>SHO<\/strong> both to take advantage to gain wins over &#8220;The Ticking Timebomb.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>With the tournament win, Takahashi is now set to face Ishimori for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship at <strong><em>Dominion<\/em><\/strong>, which is on Sunday, June 12 in Osaka.
