We preview the latest summer 2022 movies starring wrestlers including <strong>The Rock<\/strong>, <strong>Dave Bautista<\/strong>, <strong>John Cena<\/strong>, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Summer 2022 Movies Starring Wrestlers<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Rock Becomes DC&#8217;s Pet\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2022\/01\/22\/dwayne-the-rock-johnson-ufc\/\" target=\"_self\">Dwayne &#8220;The Rock&#8221; Johnson<\/a> will voice the lead role of Krypto the Super-Dog in <em>DC League of Super-Pets<\/em>. Krypto is the lovable sidekick of Superman. Krypto must step up and master his powers when Superman is kidnapped.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;The Rock&#8221; partners with Kevin Hart, once again, who voices Ace &#8211; one of several pets that inhabit superpowers. The animated movie will be a guaranteed hit with families as one of the most feel-good movies set for release. <em>DC League of Super-Pets<\/em> is set to release on July 29.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"DC LEAGUE OF SUPER-PETS \u2013 Official Trailer\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1jkw2JPCl18?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Bautista Backs Up Thor: Love &amp; Thunder\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2019\/04\/08\/batista-announces-official-retirement-from-pro-wrestling\/\" target=\"_self\">Dave Bautista<\/a> returns to one of his most beloved roles as Drax the Destroyer in <em>Thor: Love &amp; Thunder<\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In the latest installment in the <em>Thor<\/em> franchise, the titular character played by Chris Hemsworth puts together a team to fight Gorr the God Butcher. Bautista&#8217;s Drax will provide some of his trademark muscle and humor. Cena will star in action thriller <em>Snafu<\/em>, spy romp <em>Argylle<\/em> and government conspiracy thriller <em>The Independent<\/em>. None of the movies have release dates, so it might be more likely we see Cena again on the big screen in the Autumn.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">CJ Perry is WifeLike<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Cdq_w_6A4Hq\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Instagram<\/a> is anything to go by, former WWE Superstar <strong>Lana<\/strong> AKA CJ Perry is preparing for an action star role. She will appear in the James Bird movie <em>WifeLike<\/em>.
