That streak is now over as Yuta dethroned Woods for the title. Woods defeated <strong>Jonathan Gresham<\/strong> at <em>Death Before Dishonor<\/em> to win the championship. He joined the ranks of <strong>The Foundation<\/strong> shortly after the win. Woods defended the title against the likes of <strong>LSG, Brian Johnson, Dak Draper,<\/strong> and more during his time as champion.\u00a0 While ROH was on hiatus he wrestled <strong>Rhett Titus<\/strong> for the title in a match that went to a draw. He also defended the title against <strong>Victor Benjamin<\/strong> during the ROH hiatus.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first title in ROH for Yuta. He currently wrestles in AEW where he has been part of <strong>Best Friends<\/strong> and <strong>CHAOS,<\/strong> although that partnership has been uneasy since he attempted to join <strong>William Regal<\/strong> on Dynamite a couple of weeks ago.<\/p>\n<p>Yuta will now be the Pure Champion as ROH moves into the next era.
