He introduced himself, saying that his name was not one he chose, but rather one given to him by the people due to his behavior in and out of the ring. Kross alluded to a new beginning, saying that every beginning must also have an end. Kross would address <strong>Minoru Suzuki<\/strong>, saying it was time for them to meet face to face. &#8220;This begins with you,&#8221; said Kross. &#8220;New Japan Pro-Wrestling&#8230; Tick tock.&#8221; Kross will be appearing at NJPW&#8217;s <strong><em>Lonestar Shootout<\/em><\/strong> event on April 1.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/njpwglobal\/status\/1503898845620580352?s=20&#038;t=ZyLnHGyI7EfKWXXDKTYcCw<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Killer Kross is NJPW Bound<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>What to Know Before NJPW Lonestar Shootout<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>Lonestar Shootout<\/em> will mark the NJPW debut of Killer Kross. Most wrestling fans may best know him during his time in <strong>WWE<\/strong>, where he wrestled under the alias of <strong>Karrion Kross<\/strong>. In the promotion, he became <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2021\/04\/08\/karrion-kross-reclaims-nxt-championship\/\" target=\"_self\">a 2x NXT Champion<\/a>, successfully defending the title against such names as <strong>Finn B\u00e1lor<\/strong>, <strong>Johnny Gargano<\/strong>, and current <strong>All Elite Wrestling<\/strong> star <strong>Kyle O&#8217;Reilly<\/strong>. On the black and gold brand, Kross was positioned as a dominant competitior, often accompanied to the ring by the enigmatic <strong>Scarlett<\/strong> and taunting opponents in his sights with the phrase, &#8220;tick tock.&#8221; Kross and Scarlett, as well as several other WWE talent, were released from the company this past November.<\/p>\n<p>Following his WWE release, Kross returned to the independent wrestling scene. Among the promotions he&#8217;s appeared for since then include, but aren&#8217;t limited to, <strong>Warrior Wrestling<\/strong> and <strong>Major League Wrestling<\/strong>, the latter promotion being one where he became most prominent to a wider audience.
