Shuji Ishikawa is someone who many believed was owed a championship shot when Jake Lee was champion. However, due to COVID-19, he would never gain his shot. Champions Night 3 is scheduled to be a major event as it’s the culminating event before Champion Carnival. The World Tag Team Championship is understandable, due to both of the champions taking part in non-title action. With Shotaro Ashino most notably facing off against Ryuki Honda.

Elsewhere, Jake Lee will be making his return at Champions Night 3 in a major tag match that includes Suwama.
