As many might recall, WWE and A&amp;E have had a deal in the past &#8211; most notably producing the <em>Biography: WWE Legend series<\/em>, which looked at a number of WWE legends, including<strong> &#8220;Macho Man&#8221; Randy Savage<\/strong> and<strong> Bret &#8220;The Hitman&#8221; Hart<\/strong>. The full announcement is as follows:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"bwalignc\"><em>&#8216;New Seasons of the Acclaimed \u2018Biography: WWE Legends\u2019 Strand and the Hit Original Series \u2018WWE\u2019s Most Wanted Treasures\u2019 To Begin Production<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"bwalignc\"><em>Network Greenlights New Series \u2018WWE Rivals\u2019 (Working Title) and More<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>NEW YORK&#8211;(BUSINESS WIRE)&#8211; A&amp;E and WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced a multi-year expansion of their successful programming partnership with the commissioning of more than 130 new hours of premium WWE-themed series and specials to air exclusively on A&amp;E platforms and to be distributed worldwide by A+E Networks.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The multi-platform partnership includes 35 new episodes of the genre-defining, Emmy-award winning franchise \u201cBiography,\u201d featuring documentaries on legends of WWE. Last year\u2019s \u201cBiography: WWE Legends\u201d episodes drove \u201cBiography\u201d to become A&amp;E\u2019s most-watched series in 2021. WWE is also beginning production on 24 new episodes of the original series \u201cWWE\u2019s Most Wanted Treasures,\u201d which will air over multiple seasons. The first season of \u201cWWE\u2019s Most Wanted Treasures\u201d was A&amp;E\u2019s most-watched new series of last year.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>A&amp;E has also ordered 40 hours of the new series, \u201cWWE Rivals\u201d (working title). \u201cWWE Rivals\u201d (w.t.) will chronicle the little-known stories behind the biggest clashes in WWE history.
