The tournament to crown the first champion was announced on the October 6th edition of <em>Dynamite<\/em>. The tournament kicked off on October 23rd. This is Cargill&#8217;s first title reign in All Elite Wrestling. She received a first-round bye in the tournament before defeating <strong>Red Velvet, Thunder Rosa,<\/strong> and Soho in the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Early in the match <strong>Mercedes Martinez<\/strong> tried to interfere. She was quickly met by Thunder Rosa who evened up the odds. <strong>Mark Sterling<\/strong> was also at ringside before being ejected by the referee. The match ended with the two on the top turnbuckle. Cargill was able to get the better position and hit a &#8220;Jaded&#8221; off the top to pick up the victory.<\/p>\n<p>Cargill debuted in AEW in late 2020.
