The leader of Team Filthy emerged victorious after 24 minutes of action. He defeated Rosser in true MMA fashion with a Rare-Naked choke. The match itself was a physical affair. Neither participant hesitated in taking it to ringside, and even into the crowd. It\u2019s worth noticing that there was no interference from Lawlor\u2019s teammates.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Tom Lawlor Defends Title At Detonation &#8211; Taylor Rust Confronts Team Filthy<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the match, Lawlor embraced in a group hug with his compatriots and took the microphone to praise himself for successful title defense and challenged anyone to a title fight. It looked like there\u2019s no one to answer the Filthy One\u2019s challenge when <strong>Taylor Rust<\/strong> appeared on stage. The former member of Team Filthy entered the ring and hugged Lawlor, only to attack him after a few seconds. He became the champion after winning New Japan Cup USA 2021 by beating <strong style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brody King<\/strong> in April. In the following months, he has defeated a wide variety of challengers such as <strong style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chris Dickinson, Karl Fredericks, Satoshi Kojima, Lio Rush,<\/strong> <strong style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ren Narita,<\/strong> and the aforementioned Fred Rosser.
