Unlike other competitors in the tournament, Lio Rush will be entering his first <em>BOLA<\/em> in the New Year. Since 2020, &#8220;The Man of the Hour&#8221; has been a notable competitor in<strong> New Japan Pro-Wrestlin<\/strong>g endurances, specifically the <strong><em>2020 Super J-Cup<\/em><\/strong> and this year&#8217;s <strong><em>New Japan Cup USA<\/em><\/strong>. In terms of tournament victories, Rush is perhaps most notable for winning <strong>Ring of Honor&#8217;s <em>Top Prospect Tournament in 2016<\/em><\/strong>; other competitors in this tournament included <strong>Colby Corino<\/strong> and <strong>Punisher Martinez<\/strong>, the latter of whom <strong>WWE<\/strong> fans will know better as <strong>Damian Priest<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Lio Rush is signed to <strong>All Elite Wrestling<\/strong>, having <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2021\/09\/30\/lio-rush-officially-signs-with-aew\/\" target=\"_self\">officially inked a deal<\/a> this past September. He first appeared for the promotion this past May at <strong><em>Double or Nothing<\/em><\/strong>, entering the <strong>Casino Battle Royale<\/strong> as the surprise &#8220;Joker&#8221; participant. Since then, he&#8217;s been involved in a feud with <strong>Team Taz<\/strong>, <strong>Dante Martin<\/strong> in particular. Prior to AEW, Rush saw modest success in WWE, winning the <strong>NXT<\/strong> Cruiserweight Championship.
