Every heavyweight championship changed hands during this tour. Katsuhiko Nakajima won the GHC Heavyweight Championship at the beginning of the tour while Kenoh won the GHC National Championship at the end of the tour. After Kenoh defeated Masaaki Mochizuki to win the championship, Kenoh set his sights on Nakajima, claiming he wants to win the GHC Heavyweight Championship once more, but with the GHC National Championship in his possession as well.

For context, Kenoh has taken similar actions in the past. He challenged Go Shiozaki for the GHC Heavyweight Championship as GHC National Champion last year, the match ended up going to a 60-minute time limit draw. In a match considered a year in the making, Kenoh defeated Nakajima to become GHC National Champion for the first time. Additionally, Nakajima won the N-1 Victory by defeating Kenoh. As of this writing, the win/loss record between them is 2-2-1.

This also features a Kongoh vs. Kongoh main event; the winner of this match is sure to be the true leader of the Kongoh faction in the 2nd title double title match in the history of Pro Wrestling NOAH. Will Kenoh finally accomplish something he couldn’t do with Go Shiozaki or will the reign of Katsuhiko Nakajima continues into the new year?
