Heading into the event, wrestling veteran <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2020\/12\/12\/la-rosa-negra-mission-pro-wrestling-champion\/\" target=\"_self\">La Rosa Negra<\/a> was the MPW Champion, having held the title for 316-days after winning the inaugural title after winning it back in December of 2020.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>#AndNEW: The Renegade Twins Win MPW Tag Team Titles<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>On Saturday night, the <strong>Renegade Twins<\/strong>, <strong>Charlette &amp; Robyn Renegade<\/strong>, defeated the team of\u00a0<strong> Bad &amp; Boujee (Katalina Perez &amp; Lexi Gomez)<\/strong> to be crowned the inaugural MPW Tag Team Champions. She even made an appearance on\u00a0<em><strong>AEW Dynamite<\/strong><\/em> this past May (again against Thunder Rosa). It was revealed by Thunder Rosa on her Twitter that La Rosa Negra took part in the next set of tapings for\u00a0<em>AEW DARK\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>DARK Elevation<\/em>, making her long-awaited debut for AEW. It&#8217;s a great accomplishment for the 18-year legend of Puerto Rican wrestling, where she&#8217;s a 3x WWC Women&#8217;s Champion, who has also wrestled in the U.S. with <strong>Shine Wrestling<\/strong> (amongst others) as well as stints in Japan with<strong> Stardom, Sendai Girls, Marvelous, SEAdLINNNG<\/strong>, and others, capturing the Stardom High Speed Championship briefly in 2015.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Since the internet had this out\u2026.
