James appeared at <em>Slammiversary<\/em> and confronted Purrazzo after her match with <strong>Thunder<\/strong> <strong>Rosa<\/strong>. She invited Purrazzo to <strong>NWA<\/strong> <em>EmPowerr<\/em> of which Purrazzo was less than respective of. James answered her with a superkick, igniting the rivalry. The rivalry took off in the NWA where Purrazzo attacked James after her match at NWA 73.<\/p>\n<p>The rivalry culminated with Purrazzo attacking James at her farm. This lead to a no-contact clause between the two and &#8220;Pick Your Poison&#8221; matches with the two. James took on <strong>Savannah Evans<\/strong> in her first match in IMPACT since 2015 as part of the Pick Your Poison stipulation. This all lead to a heated matchup between the two, in which James captured the IMPACT Knockouts Title.<\/p>\n<p>This is James&#8217;s fourth reign as Knockouts Champion. This was her first IMPACT pay-per-view match since her last departure from the company in 2015.
