On Dynamite, their opponents were two men claimed to be &#8220;close friends of <strong>Andrade El Idolo<\/strong>.&#8221; The opponents in question were &#8220;luchadores&#8221; known as <strong>Las Super Ranas<\/strong>. However, it didn&#8217;t take long for fans to determine that they weren&#8217;t who they claimed to be. During the match, The Lucha Brothers unmasked their opponents, revealing them as <strong>Dax Harwood<\/strong> and <strong>Cash Wheeler<\/strong>, <strong>FTR<\/strong>. As mentioned earlier, they have held the titles since 2019, before the pandemic and throughout it as well. Among the opponents they successfully defended the titles against include <strong>El Hijo del Vikingo<\/strong> and <strong>Puma King<\/strong>, in addition to fellow AEW stars <strong>Santana<\/strong> and <strong>Ortiz<\/strong>. It&#8217;s unknown when, or if, The Lucha Brothers will challenge FTR to a rematch, so stay tuned.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, this marks the seventh tag team title reign of FTR. In addition to being the current AAA world tag team champions, they captured gold in AEW, winning their home promotion&#8217;s World Tag Team Championship in September of last year.
