The dialogue here is very interesting, with Jack clamoring to bring Ace into the DWL citing his \u201cfreakish athleticism\u201d. Jack and Tom bicker back and forth about a few different ways to run the company before the scene cuts and the intro plays.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Heels on Starz Episode Seven Review<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Charlie Gully is shown meeting with his talent and office workers. Gully discusses how the Florida Wrestling Dystopia is going to revitalize women\u2019s wrestling, before having a serious conversation about the DWL\u2019s upcoming state fair show. Gully realizes they need to raise their marketing skills, which leads to the FWD team vandalizing the DWL\u2019s warehouse with posters promoting their own product, but using the DWL\u2019s talent on the poster.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crystal shows up to Jack\u2019s house in a remorseful, heartfelt, and apologetic state. She tries to talk to Jack about <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2021\/09\/19\/heels-on-starz-episode-six-review\/\" target=\"_self\">her previous actions<\/a> and how she regrets them deeply, but Jack doesn\u2019t seem to be receptive to her feelings.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Vandalization, Creative Discussions and Fighting<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The DWL roster shows up at the warehouse to train, but they are met with the onslaught of posters that are glued to the walls. Jack shows up shortly after and gives an impassioned speech to the roster about how the DWL is a better place to work than the FWD.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jack revealed shortly after that he wants to have a creative discussion with Ace and Bill Hancock about the upcoming state fair main event match. Jack tells Ace that he\u2019s ready to drop the belt, it\u2019s just a matter of who to give it to next.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jack\u2019s son, Thomas Spade, gets into a fight at school. This prompts Jack and Staci to have a serious conversation about Jack\u2019s recent decisions as a father and if the DWL\u2019s real locker room intensity spilling out into their lives is causing Thomas to go \u201coff the rails\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Open Tryouts, Ace ventures to Jacksonville<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DWL hosts an open tryout for in-ring wrestlers, which prompts Crystal to sign up.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ace Spade convinces himself to make a trip to Jacksonville to meet with Charlie Gully and the Florida Wrestling Dystopia. Spade is met with a giant mansion party filled with women, drugs, and alcohol and takes a liking to Gully.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the tryout goes on, Crystal impresses office scouts &#8211; including Willie Day. Jack was not present for the tryout, but Day tried to convince Jack to give Crystal a chance. Per usual, though, Jack refused to budge and wouldn\u2019t take anybody else\u2019s opinion into account.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gully continues to try and convince Ace to stick around and join the Dystopia, but he feels a sense of loyalty to Duffy and his brother Jack. Gully points out the constant drama and problems that Ace puts up with. Gully convinces him to spend the night and \u201cfind himself\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Charlie Gully&#8230; a.k.a Eric Bischoff<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The next morning, Ace wakes up and decides to officially \u201cjump ship\u201d. It also happens to be the show night for the Dystopia, which prompts Ace to call Crystal and encourage her to jump ship as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crystal immediately rushes over to Jack\u2019s house and tells him the news, citing her loyalty to the DWL. Jack immediately drops everything he\u2019s doing and rushes down to Jacksonville, Florida. Jack arrives promptly in time to see former DWL star Rooster Robbins win the FWD World Championship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the main event match, Charlie Gully comes out to talk to his fanbase. Gully rants on and on about how much he loves his company and how he has so many surprises up his sleeve. Right before Ace walks out, Jack jumps Gully from behind and pummels him in the middle of the ring.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The closing scene is brilliant. Jack stares a hole through Ace, who\u2019s standing behind the entrance curtain &#8211; which prompts Rooster to crack a joke about how messed up the Spade family is as the show closes in a slow-motion fashion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Heels On Starz Episode Seven Review:<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Overall, this episode of <em>Heels<\/em> on Starz was one of the more eventful that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.starz.com\/us\/en\/series\/heels\/60760\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the series<\/a> has produced so far. It was centered on the Florida Wrestling Dystopia and how multiple people are considering giving it a shot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jack and everyone around him continue to fall into madness, but who\u2019s really to blame? Is it Jack for not listening to anybody but himself?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crystal had a chance to go with Ace and wrestle for the FWD, but she chose to be a \u201csnitch\u201d and told Jack everything. This is a decision that I think will come back and have negative consequences in the end on Crystal&#8217;s behalf.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the show heads into the big season finale next week, there\u2019s still a bit of ground to cover in terms of wrapping up storylines. I\u2019m interested to see how everything plays out, all the way back from <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2021\/08\/17\/heels-on-starz-episode-one-review\/\" target=\"_self\">the first episode<\/a>, and I\u2019m really bargaining for a Season 2.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Heels on Starz Episode Seven starts with another flashback, this time documenting a memory between Jack Spade and his father, Tom Spade.
