During AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash it finally happened, Swerve Strickland turned on Keith Lee. But Strickland didn’t do it alone. He was aided first by Parker Boudreaux and later by an unidentified man, both of whom are part of Strickland’s new group named the Mogul Affiliates. You can be forgiven for not knowing who this is. The former Granden Goetzman isn’t a notable wrestler on the indies, he hasn’t appeared on AEW Dark, and he hasn’t even had a wrestling match to date as far as we know. Granden Goetzman is a former professional athlete, as he previously played baseball at a high level. It is rumored that he was training with Jay Lethal prior to his debut.
Goetzman’s baseball career lasted about ten years as he was drafted in 2011 by the Tampa Bay Rays and played as a Left Fielder. He bounced around minor league and AA teams for the rest of his career. After being released from Mexican League team Tigres de Quintana Roo he made the switch to pro wrestling, now debuting as part of Swerve Strickland’s entourage.
