The AEW World Trios Championship Tournament Continues
In a semifinal match in the ongoing AEW World Trios Championship Tournament, House of Black goes head-to-head with Alex Reynolds, John Silver, and an unnamed member of Dark Order. To say that this is a unique encounter would be an understatement. While Dark Order has been a largely fun-loving group, palling around backstage, the trio of Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews has been on a destructive path. One can argue that, out of all the groups in this tournament, House of Black has the greatest chance of going all the way and capturing the AEW World Trios Championship. A potential wildcard to consider, however, is Miro, who’s been in the collective sight of House of Black for weeks. Will “The Redeemer” play a role in this tournament semifinal match? Tune into AEW Rampage this week to find out.

Claudio Castagnoli Defends the Gold
In what may be the most featured match on this week’s AEW Rampage, the ROH World Champion, Claudio Castagnoli, will be in this action. However, this may be the greatest challenge he’s faced since entering AEW, as he’ll defend the title against “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes. On last week’s Rampage, Rhodes confronted Castagnoli, stating that, during his 30-year-plus career, “The Natural” dreamed of being world heavyweight champion. “The King of Swing” was in a similar position before he unseated Jonathan Gresham for the ROH world title at Death Before Dishonor this past July. Castagnoli has been nothing short of respectful toward Rhodes, noting that he still has fire at this stage in his career. Furthermore, Castagnoli promised Rhodes a shot at the ROH World Championship if he brought his A-game. On AEW Rampage, the ROH World Championship is up for grabs and this promises to be nothing short of a spirited encounter.
