Beating The Delete

This Sunday night, live on pay-per-view, two of the best tag teams ever to grace the squared circle will collide, as The Young Bucks take on The Hardys. Matt and Jeff Hardy had some harsh words for the Jackson brothers on this week’s Dynamite. Matt stated that the comparisons between the two legendary teams are unnecessary, as the Bucks are mere “cosplayers” of the extreme team.

The Hardys would hammer the point home by saying that all doubts will be swept away after they decisively dispatch the Bucks on their way to the AEW World Tag Team Championship. These head games may favor The Hardys initially. However, Matt and Nick Jackson tend to rise to the occasion when backed against the wall. They will definitely use this criticism to fuel their fire even more. And, this Friday night, The Young Bucks will definitely be in a fighting mood.

One Up, One Down

It has come down to this. With Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. beating Toni Storm to secure her spot in the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament finals, one slot remains. The two competitors who will be fighting it out this Friday night are extremely familiar with each other, making this match all the more exciting. Ruby Soho and Kris Statlander had an absolute war in the TBS Championship Tournament a few months back.

Soho herself admitted on the latest edition of Dynamite that it was a narrow victory over Statlander. However, that version of Kris Statlander is long gone. Upon beating Red Velvet to secure her semifinal berth, Statlander showcased that she has reached another better level in her evolution as a competitor. Ruby Soho better be on her toes, as she’s stepping in the ring with a wrestler with a brand new competitive edge. Who will face Baker at the finals at Double or Nothing? Tune in to TNT this Friday to find out!
