Trey Miguel vs. Brian Pillman Jr.
Two of the top young high flyers in the world face-off, as IMPACT Wrestling‘s Trey Miguel collides with Major League Wrestling (MLW)‘s Brian Pillman Jr. in what should be a high octane affair. Miguel is usually seen alongside his Rascalz cohorts Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz, while Pillman is usually with his Hart Foundation colleagues Teddy Hart and Davey Boy Smith Jr. But on Saturday, both will be flying solo and ready to show what they can do without ringside assistance.
EFFY vs. Danhausen
Indie star EFFY is finally getting the attention he deserves, working bigger and more prominent promotions around the country, and the charismatic scallywag meets an enigmatic force known as Danhausen. Danhausen is a Midwest veteran from Detroit who is a regular with Cleveland’s Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW), but the strange being continues to shine in any promotion.
Work Horsemen (JD Drake & Anthony Henry) vs. Violence is Forever (Dominic Garrini & Kevin Ku)
Two of the top tag teams in the East, as former EVOLVE Tag Team Champions The Work Horsemen (JD Drake & Anthony Henry) prove why their one of the best in the US indies. The reigning Freelance Wrestling Tag Team Champions are one of the smoothest tag teams in the US right now and will be looking to keep their stride against one of the brashest upstart teams of the past year. Formerly known as Sadkampf, Violence is Forever features former EVOLVE/Catch Point star Dominic Garrini with Southern indie star Kevin Ku. VIF has been on a tear of late and are ready to break out as a team to watch by the end of 2019.
Gary Jay vs. “Filthy” Tom Lawlor
Two hard-nosed fighters that will do whatever it takes. Gary Jay has been a veteran of the Southern, Mid Atlantic and Midwest indies for over 15-years and has had some epic rivalries in his day. Tough as nails, he’s regularly fought in St. Louis Anarchy, IWA Mid South, Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) and Black Label Pro to name a few. In a first time match-up, he faces former UFC star “Filthy” Tom Lawlor, who has been making a huge impact in the US indies the past year or so since devoting all his time to pro wrestling. He’s currently in a war to regain the MLW World Heavyweight title he recently lost to Jacob Fatu.
Tenille Dashwood vs. Allie Kat
It’s been some time since we last saw Tenille Dashwood (formerly WWE Superstar Emma) in a ring, as she went on a hiatus for health reasons last fall. Since then, she’s left Ring of Honor, but reboots her career this Saturday as she takes on one of the hottest rising women’s stars in the US in Allie Kat. A product of the vibrant Texas scene, Kat is one to watch as 2019 comes to a close.
Jonathan Gresham vs. Larry D
Jonathan Gresham is one of the world’s most underrated technical specimens, but don’t expect a mat classic like his ROH Final Battle encounter with Zack Sabre Jr. last year. This time he’s facing a brawling veteran in Larry D, a 17-year pro from Kentucky who is also a former 2x IWA Mid South Heavyweight Champion. But fear not – Gresham has survived stints in CZW and Germany’s hard-hitting Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw), so he’s not shy from a little contact.
Swoggle vs Jordynne Grace
Who would have thought that former WWE Superstar Hornswoggle would have had a better indie career since departing the WWE than Ryback, Enzo & Big Cass, and many other more traditional wrestlers? But Swoggle has been more than just a sideshow attraction since he hit the indies a few years back, with solid encounters with the likes of Arik Cannon, Sami Callihan, Nick Gage, Rickey Shane Page and Marko Stunt in recent months. He’s entering the world of intergender wrestling on Saturday and he’s facing one of the hottest stars in the world in IMPACT Wrestling’s Jordynne Grace. The former PROGRESS Women’s Champion is pound-for-pound one of the strongest wrestlers on the planet and may prove to be Swoggle’s toughest challenge yet.
Black Label Pro Indiana State Championship: “Warhorse” Jake Parnell (c) vs. AJ Gray
Jake Parnell and AJ Gray are two of the top emerging stars from the Midwest scene, and these two are no strangers to each other. They’ve crossed paths many times before since 2017, from Canada’s Alpha-1 to Glory Pro to Black Label Pro. This past March, AJ Gray defended his Paradigm Pro Heavyweight Championship against Parnell, but on Saturday it’s Parnell putting his own title on the line, once again in Indiana. Two men destined for even bigger years in 2020, this will a match to pay attention to.
Black Label Pro Heavyweight Championship, Last Man Standing: Kobe Durst (c) vs. Ethan Page
Two Canadians headline BLP on Saturday, in a rivalry that has set the tone for Black Label Pro in 2019. “All Ego” Ethan Page is a former BLP Heavyweight Champion and a man who brought Kobe Durst – a pupil of his from his own Alpha-1 promotion in Canada – into BLP. But over the past year, temperaments have changed and now the former mentor and mentee are bitter rivals, and on Saturday, this feud comes to a dramatic conclusion in a Last Man Standing Match for the BLP Heavyweight title.
