#MYC2: Tegan Nox just messed her knee up doing a dive through the ropes onto Rhea Ripley. Trainers came out, the ref had to stop it. I don’t think it was storyline…she was in tears and the crowd was 100% silent while they worked on her. She put no weight on it as she left.

Rare to be in a wrestling crowd that sits in utter silence and legit concern than when Tegan Nox was injured. How she continued the match before succumbing to what looked to be excruciating pain. Warrior. Send positive vibes her way. #WWE #WWEMYC

Serious Injury at Mae Young Classic Tapings
In what’s even more unfortunate for the Welsh Superstar – whom many pegged as either winner or finalist for this year’s tournament after missing last year’s due to a knee injury – is that the injury appears to be the other knee than the one injured last time.
Tegan Nox FKA Nixon Newell injured her knee in her match with Rhea Ripley, it was tweaked in the beginning X was thrown and she decided to continue, later she threw up the X and they called it. Was the opposite knee than before, was heartbreaking to watch. https://t.co/beE7xDSrG3

Another tough break for one of the most highly touted prospects in NXT’s women’s division, who only just returned to NXT Live Events this past April from the previous injury. She was building momentum in a tag unit with Dakota Kai and was reportedly in lines for a huge push following the tournament. No word yet on the severity of the injury, but fingers crossed she’s back sooner than later.
UPDATE August 9, 2018, 9:48pm: Apparently Triple H has told the audience it appears to be a broken leg.
Scoop #39: Triple H implied that Tegan Nox may have a broken leg, but it’s just a bump in the road and she has a bright future
