Former Tag Team Champions Return at Impact Tapings in Windsor, Canada (SPOILER)

In the continuing saga of LAX and Konnan being taken out, Konnan returned last night at the Impact Wrestling tapings in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and called out Eddie Kingston. “The King” came to the ring with Santana and Ortiz and listened as Konnan accused Kingston of putting a hit on him and trying to take him out. After initially denying it, Kingston finally admitted it, which caused some concern with Ortiz and Santana. Kingston pleaded with Santana and Ortiz to remain loyal to him and turn their back on Konnan, but the duo refused and back up their leader. In a shock to the live crowd, original LAX members Homicide and Hernandez made their return to Impact and attacked Santana and Ortiz, while Kingston took out Konnan.

Later in the evening, Homicide and Hernandez had a match against two local wrestlers, squashing them easily after a brutal looking Border Toss from Hernandez. With Eddie Kingston in tow, the trio came out announced as a new faction called The OGz. During the initial LAX run in the mid-2000s, the team of Homicide and Hernandez were 3x Tag Team Champions with Impact Wrestling (2x NWA, 1x TNA), cementing themselves as one of Impact’s most decorated tag teams. The OGz also challenged LAX to a 5150 Streetfight at Slammiversary.

In other news out of the tapings, indie star Shotzi Blackheart made her Impact debut for the Knockouts Division, Scottish star Joe Hendry made his in-ring debut for Impact, and the mysterious backstage attacker was revealed to be AAA, House of Hardcore and Maverick Pro star Killer Kross, a member of the faction MAD with Juventud Guerrera and Teddy Hart (neither of the other two members were present and no word if there are plans to bring the entire AAA faction in later or if Kross remains the lone attacker).
