Impact Wrestling debuted a Twitch exclusive event on their new Twitch channel on February 9, 2018 entitled Brace For IMPACT. The event was a co-production with New Jersey indie promotion Wrestle Pro. Tonight, Impact Wrestling returns with it’s second Twitch exclusive event, Impact Last Chancery, put on in co-production with two Ontario indie promotions, Border City Wrestling from Windsor, Ontario and hosted by Toronto’s Destiny World Wrestling (DWW). The event was taped last Sunday night at the Don Kolov Arena in Mississauga, Ontario and featured Impact stars working against Ontario and Midwest indie talent.
Eli Drake vs. Marcus Burke
Former Impact World Champion Eli Drake continues to fight his way back into contention and tonight he faces a wrestler from Canada’s East Coast in Marcus Burke from New Brunswick. Burke is a regular with New Brunswick’s Innovative Hybrid Wrestling (IHW) and appeared on Impact Wrestling last November, when he teamed with Phil Atlas and Ray Steele in a losing effort against OvE (Sami Callihan, Jake & Dave Crist). He’s also been working in the UK with 5* Star Wrestling and the Knight family’s WAW, and is a former South African Champion with World Wrestling Professionals (WWP) in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
Braxton Sutter vs. Tyson Dux
While he’s distancing himself from Allie’s shadow, Braxton Sutter looks to kickstart his singles momentum on Impact Wrestling, but tonight he faces a Canadian indie legend in Tyson Dux. Dux was a participant in WWE’s Cruiserweight Classic in 2016 and has appeared for Impact, WWE and Ring of Honor in the past. He’s also coming off a 435 day reign as Smash Wrestling‘s Champion. It won’t be an easy fight for Sutter against Canada’s “Wrestling Machine”.
The Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Raju & Gursinder Singh) vs. Cody Deaner & Jake Something
The Great Gama‘s new stable, The Desi Hit Squad, makes their Impact televised debut tonight, as Rohit Raju (who wrestled the Midwest and Ontario indies as Hakim Zane) and Gursinder Singh (England indie star Tony Cage, who moved to Canada to train with Lance Storm) take on former Impact star Cody Deaner and Glory Pro Champion Jake Something in tag team action.
Trevor Lee vs. “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander
Former 3x X-Division Champion Trevor Lee may be chasing Impact Tag Team gold with Cult of Lee partner Caleb Konley, but tonight he returns to singles action in a test against a Canadian indie veteran. A 12-year veteran, “The Walking Weapon” has appeared for CHIKARA, EVOLVE, AIW, AAW and more, but is best remembered for his tag team with “All Ego” Ethan Page, The Monster Mafia, who had runs in Ring of Honor and PWG (where they were PWG World Tag Team Champions).
Fatal 4-Way: Petey Williams vs. Brent Banks vs. Phil Atlas vs. Idris Abraham
“The Canadian Destroyer” Petey Williams faces off against three Ontario indie stars, including X-Division rookie Idris Abraham (he appeared in last year’s Super X-Cup), former All-Japan and Pro Wrestling NOAH wrestler Phil Atlas, and rising Canadian indie star Brent Banks, who represented Canada in WCPW’s Pro Wrestling World Cup in last year’s qualifiers – going toe to toe against Mike “Speedball” Bailey.
Knockouts Championship Match: Allie (c) vs. KC Spinelli
New Knockouts champ Allie makes her first title defence against an Ontario indie star who joined Impact’s Knockouts division a few months back in KC Spinelli. The two are no strangers to each other, facing off in Smash Wrestling for years, so this will be a hard fought affair from both sides of the ring.
Alberto El Patron vs. Moose
Two of Impact’s top stars who are trying to stay in the hunt for the Impact World Championship square off in a power struggle of positioning. Moose has the strength advantage, but El Patron has the experience – and cunning – to take on a challenger of Moose’s size.
Impact World Championship Match: Austin Aries (c) vs. Kongo Kong (w/ Jimmy Jacobs) vs. Matt Sydall
Austin Aries continues to be a fighting champion for Impact, as “The Belt Collector” puts his title on the line against Impact’s “New Monster” Kongo Kong (who will accompanied by his handler Jimmy Jacobs) and Impact’s new dual Grand & X-Division Champion Matt Sydal in a Triple Threat match.
