He once called Magglio Ordonez<\/strong> a Venezuelan piece of s&!t. He also said the toughest man he knows is Fidel Castro. But, Ozzie Guillen<\/strong> guided guided the Chicago White Sox to their first World Series <\/a>title in 88 years and remains an extraordinarily popular man among White Sox fans.<\/p>\n

Why you ask?<\/p>\n

Consider he was the team\u2019s rookie of the year in 1985, was the stunning choice as manager in 2004, won World Series and now is a very popular and still outspoken pre and post game TV analyst. \u201cI don\u2019t know why people always second guess me when I always pay my taxes, I never beat my wife, I never do anything wrong, I sent my kids through college.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

And there\u2019s more.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time they hear about me, just a guy creating a lot of crazy things and talks to much.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

But,seriously folks, Ozzie loves his wife of 40 years whom he met as a 15 year old in his native Venezuela. That story alone is worth listening to part of of this episode of \u201cTell me a story I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/a> He has three grown sons and yours truly remembers when two of them were running around crazy in the locker room.<\/p>\n

Guillen is popular because he\u2019s honest, sometimes to a fault. \u201cAs long as you don\u2019t make stuff up, that you\u2019re not lying to the fans. Even I say one thing means something to me but somebody else means something else.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Guillen\u2019s broken English has something to do with that.<\/p>\n
